Ever since VLC Player came around I haven't had a use for any other DVD player software.
As far as I understand it Closed Captioning is simply an extra subtitle stream. As long as a CC stream is on the DVD it should be accessible from either the DVD menu or the VLC subtitle menu.
Ok I am revisiting this post cause VideoLAN does not support CC for windows, it actually says so on their site. So Now i need to for another program. Subtitles and CC are very different so do not try to pass it as the same.
