Transformers DVD Release Date - October 16th

Okay so ignore the horribly annoying commentator on this video, but it's the only Youtube video I've been able to find so far that shows off a little bit of the special features of the "Transformers" HD DVD. The Intelligence Mode is by far the coolest special feature I've seen so far on a High Def disc!

I have a problem with my HD DVD of Transformers. The first time I inserted the disc, it said that there was an update available for this, on Xbox Live...I downloaded it and it played fine.

I tried to watch the movie again, yesterday and when I inserted the disc and it went to the loading screen, the words "Web-Enabled Update" appeared under "Loading" and under that, the word "Cancel". However after a couple of seconds it stops loading and just remains there. I can only open the disc tray or power off the Xbox.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is there any way I could fix this? Thanks...

they talked bout it on a podcast for TFWire. there currently is no way to fix it. u gotta un plug ur internet connection to play the hd dvd.

EDIT: I removed my ethernet cable so the Xbox wouldnt connect on Live and reconnected it while at the menu. I then went to "Extras", "Web Enabled Features" and it took me to the loading screen again but this time I was able to finish all updates and access the web enabled features.
I dont know if it worked because I accessed the web enabled features from the main menu or if it was just luck but any of you with a 360 should try it, if you havent already.

Walmart will be selling the Toshiba HD-A2 HD DVD player for an insane $98 starting later this morning starting at 8AM!!!!

This is the $300 player that I bought in May!

This means, that for $98, you can get an HD DVD player, 5 Free HD DVDs via mail-in rebate (worth about $125 right there!), AND have a player that'll allow you to buy and watch "Transformers" (and many many other great movies) in High-Def!

I just got Transformers on DVD yesterday (which is when it came out here in Australia)! And again, I was amazed with it, not only with how great the movie still is despite seeing it 5 times allready, but at how cool the packaging is. It's basicly the same as the American 1 disk packaging, only it's 2 disk.

Also, We've just bought the computer/DVD thingy majig that I don't really understand, but it plays bluray and HD!!! THis means that I am going to pre-order the HD transformers as well, from Ezydvd, which comes out on november 22nd.

I am so thrilled!

Is every Walmart around the US selling it for the same price? I didn't see it listed anywhere on Walmart's website. I looked into this particular player & it only goes up to 1080i & not 1080p resolution. People would probably be fighting each other to get one anyways.
