DVD Release Date - October 16th

Discussion in 'Transformers' started by Cth, Aug 14, 2007.

  1. I don't really need all those special features, all I need is the most kickass action film of the summer, with a little Megan Fox and I'm good.

Agreed. Not only does the single disc version have a great slip cover, but the artwork inside the plastic is amazing! All we get for the two disc version is a reprint of the two teaser posters with the side views of optimus and megs. :csad: Now I have to make a really hard choice. Do I get the two disc version and get all the special features, or do I get the one disc version with the badass artwork? :ninja:

Most likely I'll buy the 2 Disc DVD version and then D/L the HD version to my PS3's HDD. Hopefully in 18 months they'll come out with a kick @$$ Blu-Ray version, which I will most certainly buy ASAP.

Wow that Two Disc Special Edition Cover is boring as hell. If they wanted Prime & Megatron on the front & back there is better looking Official Wallpaper already made then just the white background :whatever: All I have to say is I was not far off with my cover haha

I like the two disc special edition cover more than the single disc edition.

I'll be getting the two disc edition of course. I wish i had an HD player :S

Roll on October 16th I didn't think it would be out that early but I aren't complaining. Oh October will be the death of my wallet. Spider-Man 3, Transformers, Blade Runner 5 disc Ultimate edition and Metroid Prime 3....

looks like i'm the only one here that thinks the special ed is cooler. Most dvds that have 2 version usually have the complicated picture for the single disc and a really simple (yet better quality like engraving or made of metal, etc) artwork for the special ed. i like it, although, i must admit, the the insider cover of teh single disc of OP standing over sam/makaela is pretty sweet.

Good thing that's released on March 12 of this year.

Before it hit theaters no less! :D

More than likely it refers to the 1986 movie which was recently released for Blu Ray.

The official paramount site has listed transformers with it's special features, and there's a coupld of extras that were not included on the previous features list. (Deleted scenes)
