Figured now would be as good a time as any to show more of Damien Black's oldest child. Was looking through some art & was easily reminded of me of why these two pieces have always been among my absolute favorites of all my characters.

Adiris Grim
(Fraternal Twin of Thane Grim)

Super proud of how this character design ended up coming out. I will admit it does feel refreshing knowing I now have art done for all three siblings and they all have their own distinctive features.

Here, with Adiris, I wanted her look to feel as vibrant as possible. She's a character with a lot of baggage and a lot of conflict, so whether she's good or evil isn't quite so cut & dry. And I think one of the best things about both her and Thane will be how their relationship develops over time.

I'll likely end up experimenting a lot with her look as time goes on, but for starters keeping it simple seemed like the best avenue.
I love this design.

I love this design.

Thanks! Gotta give major credit to my artist for that one. I pretty much only really knew the hair style & general aesthetic I wanted and he handled all of the rest beautifully.

Some of these were long overdue, in particular Osprey and Jinx. Osprey because she's Blackout's first partner/"side-kick" and Jinx because she's the girl that survives Damien Black's initial murder spree & discovers she's a metahuman.

Idris Draven

Another from my Titan roster who, like Thane Grim, comes from a prominent Titan family/lineage. Whereas Thane and his family are largely of Samoan descent, Idris and his clan are more on the Scottish end of the spectrum.

Idris is indeed a superhero, and will butt heads with Thane many time because they are very much alike while also being so drastically different. There's a lot of story to tell with this guy & the idea of him going down different paths than Thane, either due to his differing or perspective or intentionally to be as separated from Thane as possible.

With Dracula, I'll admit that Richard Roxburgh's version in 2004's Van Helsing has always been among my favorite interpretations of the character, so I wanted to figure out something really cool & unique for Dracula to transform into that still has vampiric qualities to it. Then once that was done I figured what the Hell? Might as well see how it looks scaled up to Titan size too. :D

And just for a bit of added fun, here's how I'd probably re-imagine Jason Voorhees if I were ever handed such a task.

Adiris Grim

1700312086242.png
1700312098829.png

Realized recently that Adiris is the sibling I've posted the least of/about. Out of the clown characters I have, Adiris is probably the closest to Harley Quinn in how she tows the line between anti-hero and supervillain. At least initially, anyway.

In a way, I wanted to explore what it would be like if Harley Quinn had actual powers. Adiris isn't a psychiatrist and she's not a victim in the same sense as Harley, although clearly Wildcard being her mother is a bad influence on her starting off.

I'd say of the three siblings, Thane has the cunning & strategy of Wildcard, Adiris is the closest to her in terms of look & aesthetic and Damien is the one that's outright evil & depraved like she is. Seeing as they're twins, Thane & Adiris tend to see eye to eye more often than not.

On the flip side, Adiris has inherited numerous powers and abilities from Kanan, chief of which is bio-electricity. They all have it, but Adiris becomes the most proficient with it & I think it makes her character very intriguing to work with.

Even though the three of them all start in drastically different places, they are all ultimately beings that end up operating on a cosmic scale. And that itself is really fun to think about.

Figured now was a good time to highlight Weaver & the Oni again, especially since they are adversaries. There's such a stark difference between the two in just appearance alone & I feel like they work perfectly off one another.

Neo-Oni

1701047439392.png

A look at another adversary of Weaver. Without giving too much detail, what I'll say is that Neo-Oni is to the Oni what Hobgoblin is to the Green Goblin. Similar aesthetic in terms of their costume & persona but completely different individuals with their own approach & plans.

1701223284090.png

Xaria - Huntress Titan

1701223304588.png
1701223315328.png

Xaria here is the Titaness most commonly associated with hunting, battle, war, etc. She is also the adoptive mother of Thane Grim, being that his birth mother (Wildcard) is a homicidal clown supervillain. So, Xaria is the one who raises him and is one of the primary reasons he proves to be such an efficient fighter overall.
