SOny did their thing.

Good work...no news on price drop...

Does anyone know where I can get good resolution downloads of the complete E3 Microsoft, EA, Sony and Ubi press conferences?

Thanks in advance.

Well, I missed the first half of their conference. Got in just as they were starting with the Vita stuff. Anyone care to fill me in.

Sony kicked ass this time around. I give Sony an A- on this. They were humbled by the PSN outage, they had some kick ass titles, great exclusive content for third party games, and Vita kicks ass. The only problem, they didn't offer a lot of new features that I thought was going to be announced like a YouTube app the way Microsoft announced this year.

...Really? They're blowing Microsoft away.

And I'm the biggest Halo fanboy on the hype, that's just ALL they had.

Eh i wasnt too impressed with Sony's either. After Drakes Deception, i didnt care about much they showed. Same goes for Microsofts. I like Halo, but dont really get pumped for the games. So far, as it always seems to be, i care more about the multi platform games rather than the stuff the companies are offering.

I mean the highlights of the day, for me, were the Arkham City clips, the Skyrim clips, the BF footage and the Uncharted demo. I dont care too much about the sutff MS and Sony are claiming they'll do.

I never felt i needed to own a pSP and the Vita(outside of Uncharted) didnt do much to sway me

If you have a PS3, Sony will put it up on the PSN most likely in the next update or 2.

Same ol, same ol. But they announced some neat exclusives for multi plat games. Like a free copy of Bioshock with Bioshock infinite and Battlefield 1943 eing included with BF3

Nothing really impressive besides vita, or vito, or whatever the hell it's called.
For a hand-held, it looked like a next generation jump. The rest of the E3 stuff was same old same old.

I'd agree with this.

Well, they lacked any real marquee game announcements, but that wasn't the point of their conference. The point of the conference was to sell the Vita and they excelled in that regard. My grade: B +. Would've been an A if they finished their conference with a huge game announcement like GTA V or GOW4, as they did last year with Twisted Metal. Though as I said, this was Vita's show and I get that.

Big apology
Uncharted
Resistance
Dust (EVE Online spinoff shooter)
Some generic-looking Move fantasy game
Sly 4 trailer
Bioshock for Vita
No mention of The Last Guardian. :csad:

That's all I can remember.

I wish EA would have shown some console MP footage for Battlefield though. It's all been PC centered.

Battlefield undoubtedly blew MW out of the water. IMO

That said, Nintendo is going to blow the competition away tomorrow.

Well, that sounds pretty lackluster actually. The Vita stuff I saw was pretty neat, though.

Yeah, Nintendo automatically became the star of the show when they announced the intent to announce their next home console. Can't wait to see what they've got tomorrow, but Sony definitely made me proud to be a PS3 owner today and has me pumped to get my hands on the Vita.

They handled the outage perfectly. I expected them to use Kevin Butler to joke about it but instead they sincerely apologized to their customers which was the right way to go.

I know some are disappointed that they left Butler out, but I get why they did. This conference wasn't the time for jokes. Not after the outage. They had to win back their customer base and they came out on a mission to do just that.

Like I said, only thing keeping me from giving this conference an A was the lack of that one big marquee game at the end.
