I for one propose that, since the "Marvel Movie Universe" is quite a mouthful, wecall the MMU Earth-617 (since it's the closest thing we will see in movies to 616).

Too late. I already proposed that it be called Earth-5208 in honor of Iron Man's release date. Because of this everyone on the internet has to refer to it as such. ABSOLUTELY NO OBJECTIONS!
