For whatever reason, this movie was on my mind today, and I just wanted to know what everyone else thought of it. I still look back fondly on it, if only for the fact that it's delightfully silly and aware of its time and setting. Not to mention the random musical numbers!!

If it's a cult favorite, it's gotta be one of the more obscure ones because I've never heard anyone talk about it or known any else aside from me who has seen it.

The movie isn't a cult favorite. It is nostalgic. There's a difference! I saw this movie as a kid back in the `80s when it was released. Did I love it? But of course! But, now when I watch it I realize what a piece of crap it was. Yet I can still enjoy the nostalgia of it.

Oh, and I agree that Geena Davis looked great in that bikini. I really don't recall ever seeing her in a bikini in any other movies. I think this is the only one.
