Matt Hazard is the star of this new game, which is to be a return to glory for the "legendary" hero. In it he will come up against all his old foes from the previous games. This setup allows the game to have fun with just about anything and everything that's happened in gaming over its relatively brief history. Pete Andrew, vice president product development at D3, says, "Eat Lead parodies some of our fondest memories in classic gaming and pop culture, so gamers will have a laugh out loud experience every time they pick-up the controller."

Naturally, there's a twist, and it all turns out to be an elaborate ruse intended to end Matt Hazard once and for all. The bad guy trying to off Hazard is in complete control of the game all along and can manipulate the levels on the fly resulting in sudden and dramatic changes in the game world. These "hack effects" will keep players always guessing as to what comes next.

I can't wait to Eat Lead next spring...Not literally, Just I cannot wait to play Eat Lead The Return Of Matt Hazard. The screenshots look great, the trailer of the history of Hazard is funny, I can't wait to see an actual trailer with footage. Now if Serious Sam and Duke Nuke Em returns along with a new Doom, the PS3/360 generation can finally relive the glory days of 80's action...with 21st century graphics.
