I just got done watching this film. Wow. No wonder it was straight to dvd release. The script is weak, the acting is average, and the action and flow is just cliche for the most part. This movie also suffers from what I call "magic bullet syndrome". The good guy(s) seem to hit everything they shoot at and the bad guy(s) seem to miss everything. The movie was boring with no real twists and in the end you don't really care about anything that just happened. We also have Morgan Freeman who has a few funny moments and Spacey who pretty much just basically makes a cameo with a horrible wig (worse than the Lex Luthor wigs) and Justin Timberlake trying to act. I suggest you skip this unless you have nothing else to do...it is not a must see movie.

Why did Morgan Freeman sign to do this film?

I suppose it was something different than playing God.

Probably a nice hefty salary.

Any movie with LL Cool J is doomed.

LL Cool J = Jar Jar Binks :(

Well Mindhunters was pretty good. But everything else with him pretty much sucks yeah lol.

This movie has earned Morgan Freeman another Oscar nomination.

Find Guilty By Association and youll really be questioning his choices.

Anyways, I remember when the trailer came out, Timberlake only had one line in it. lol

Timberlake just can't do it as an actor. Your too busy thinking "Hey...that is Justin Timberlake acting". He doesn't really make you believe he is the guy he is playing.

I feel like I'm looking at a Doublemint Gum commercial here.

I saw this movie a week or so ago (I work at Blockbuster and we get it early) and yeah it was bad. Kevin Spacey and Morgan Freeman, in my eyes, can do no wrong but this movie was not good. I attribute it to their limited amount of screen time ;). Anyway, Timberlake wasn't all that bad in the movie, it just wasn't a good movie. I say pass it. But if you must see it then go ahead. Just don't expect all too much.

That's really more your problem than it is his.

Obviously it's Timberlake's fault as well for being unconvincing. Some actors get into the role and you don't realize it's them. Others don't.

Not really. Mandy Moore for example has done the transition well. She is very good actress.

If all you can manage to think is "hey that's Justin Timberlake acting," then yeah, it's your problem.

No. It means Timberlake is a bad actor and can't convince anyone he is his character.

Well like I said there are other singers/artists that do acting that pull it off and others that don't. Timberlake is one that doesn't for me sorry. Why so defensive about him? N'Sync fan?
