And also how do u import video onto the computer? any programs or anything i need to do that? i have soooooo many tapes waiting to be editted and put on dvd.:cmad:

Thx:yay:

I use Adobe Premire Pro For editing and Adobe After effects for effects. Great programs and you can do a hell of alot with them.

As for sticking video onto pc. for my film work i have a firewire thats on my camera to my pc so thats simple enough, from VCR to pc i have a graphics card with S cable on it so it plugs in from the back of my vcr to my graphics card then capture it using is WinTv or somthing. Then burn that to Dvd. Also have an attachment with the Red yellow and white cables as well...

If you want to start from bottom, why not use Microsoft Movie Maker. It's free and powerful.

I find Adobe Premier unsuitable for me, because I don't have the luxury of time to sit down and learn the details. I just want faster results and I use two software for my purpose - Adobe Premier Elements (which can add quick and cool effects) and Cyberlink PowerDirector for cropping videos.

Moreover, Adobe Premier Elements doesn't cost so much compared to its Professional counterpart.
