Im not ok with this,he doesnt fit the role.He cant play geek,he can play smart but not batterd geek but i guess iwth banner being a bit tuffer it can go a different way and i think this choice will bring in more ticket sales.still,im not ok withit and it.will see.

WHAT???? The hell he can't play geek! It's ****ing Ed ****ing Norton! He can play anything, and he's a skinny slightly dopey guy.

Oh my god. I came when I saw this. Edward Norton is an amazing choice.

He seems like a good replacement. I don't remember acting wise too much though.

This is awesome news. Holy hell he's the perfect fit. Bana did good with the script they had for the first film but Ed Norton is the perfect actor to play Banner. He brings alot to the table and he is a perfect contrast to The Hulk. Bana was missing that "contrast".

I highly recommend Rounders and American History X. You can pass on the Illusionist it was mediocre at best.

I wanted Bana, as I thought he was a great choice, and in general I hate when they switch pitchers's mid game, but Norton is just an amazing actor and generally chooses great films so that fact gives me hopes for this film now.

Ed F***IN Norton is the Hulk. Best damn casting for any Marvel Superhero so far.

Primal Fear.

So one down 2 to go.

Is Adrien Brody Blonsky?
Matthew Modine is general Ross???

That's my guess.

For once we agree. Bana was a little too buff and had too much of a pretty boy look to him.

I havent been keeping up too much with recent Hulk Hype, but Edward Norton is a phenomenal actor, he truly amazes me with the numerous roles he has the ability to play. Who knows how the final product will turn out, but this a great first step into salvaging the franchise.

I also think its interesting that they are just going to move on with the story, whats done is done, they arent going to redo the origin story, good move again.

Im geeking out over this! Not one casting in the history of marvel movies has got me as excited as this. Edward Norton is the hulk? Am I dreaming?

I really can't wait to see how he does. If anyone EVER doubts that this is anything but superb casting they need to go out and (re)watch Fight Club and realise that Ed Norton is absolutly FREAKING OUTSTANDING!!!

Louis did say in a tongue in cheek sorta way that he was gonaa try to beat the "Iron Man" casting. :) This is on par if not better then Downey as Stark. Both choices are awesome. As you guys can see Marvel is treating it's characters with class from the directors to the actors.

Hey Louis I see you here online...any comments!?!

Best. Casting. Ever!!!!!!

holy hell...ed norton!!!!!

that's just *passes out from the awesomeness*

Yeah now that I am thinking about it Norton does have a history for taking on roles that are essentially him playing two opposite characters in one film. I am surprised I didn't pick that up before.

That is awesome.
For sure this guy is dorky enough, come on, check some of his roles off, he has that look, plus as an actor he is completely flexible.
I'm stunned he took the role, hopefully the Penn script won't kill this movie, and we will see Norton in a trilogy at least!

If you were to create a shortlist of the best American actors working today, Norton and Downey would probably top that list. I've never been so proud to be a Marvel comics fan. Well done Marvel, and congrats to Letterier. Fan-freaking-tastic news!

tell me,when has he ever played anything close to a geek?? even as a the brains behind the capture of hannibal lector he wasnt a geek.I dont think he can play a good bruce....hes a good actor and im not saying he cant learn to play a geek but i dont have faith in a belieble proformance as one.I cant see him turning into the hulk either. He really doesnt remind me of bruce.
