The article that reveals Jeff Robinov's new approach of the DC Comics movies say we'll see eight movies that are alredy being planned. Which one do you think they refer to?

For me:

. Superman Reboot.
. Batman 3.
. Green Lantern.
. Flasg.
. Wonder-Woman.
. Green Arrow.
. Superman VS. Batman.
. Justice League of America!

My dreams are comming true!

I thought the article said Superman vs Batman wasn't going to happen? It was worded like a possible sequel to Superman Returns if it had succeeded.

If you're right I'd love to see it. Wonder if Petersen is still involved?

It also depends what they mean by plan. Many of these films have technically been planned for years but never gotten close to shooting scenes.

Superman .....something either reboot or keep going in this pig headed direction
Batman 3
Supermax
Shazam
Flash
Green Lantern
Wonder Woman
Plastic-Man

The next Batman
Wonder Woman
Green Arrow
Green Lantern
Flash
Superman reboot
Plastic Man
???

DC is larger than superheroes.

Expect most of those to be cheaper Vertigo titles like Y and Sleeper.

The article says ''Superman VS. Batman'' might happen after the individual movies. Same with ''Justice League''.

Y the Last Man
Superman
Batman Begins 3
Supermax
Green Lantern
Wonder Woman
Flash
Shazam!

Y the Last Man
Superman
Batman Begins 3
Supermax
Green Lantern
Wonder Woman
Flash
Shazam!

ditto

I'd also love the possibility of the green lantern/green arrow spinoffs being a joint movie

Superman Reboot
Wonder Woman
Batman 3
GL Hal
Flash
Supermax GA
Shazam
Justice League

I'm very positive that WB will get rid of Dobin's involvement with The Flash

Octoberist:

Do you think it will affect Berlanti directing GL?

This is my theory:

I think Berlanti will be involved with Green Lantern to some capacity, as the guy who did the blueprint for the movie.

But I wouldn't be surprised if WB decides to go with a rewrite, and a new director. It would be like how Zach Synder used David Hayter's draft of the Watchmen, and rewrote it. Hayter is still getting credit as the writer, however.

That's just my prediction because WB seems to have a new philosophy now, and Berlanti came in at a weird time, along with Dobkins. And because they're not big proven names, it's possible that they both could be cannon fodder at this point.

But I could be wrong. But I still think Berlanti will stick around though while Dobkins will probably drift away.

Well i hope berlanti is still with gl what we been hearing about it was sounding very promosing hopefully he will still be going. As for the films dc wants to get out its probably going to be like this:
Batman 3
Superman Reboot
Green lantern
Green Arrow
Then flash/ww/shazam will probably happen a bit later since development with them has been going slow or not at all for awhile.

You're misreading the article. The article speaks of 8 tentpoles a year, not 8 DC movies.

Yea the article was saying right now they are planning to get atless 2-4 films out for dc characters which will be batman 3, superman reboot, and then more likely then not green latern, green arrow since those two seem to be in much better shape then the flash/ww/shazam films.

The hype just needs to seize the studio and all themoney and equipment and make their own superhero series.

So basically, what they're talking about is in essence doing away with comicbooks and translating it all to the big screen, no?

How well did Get Smart do?

I've heard it didn't impress WB. You think that could stop Shazam from happening?

Batman 3
Superman
Wonder Woman
Green Lantern
the Flash
Aquaman
Green Arrow
Shazam!

I thought get smart did well in the BO last i heard shazam been stalled since the WGA strike and the film's writer been busy with alot of other films he has backloged and hasnt had the time to work on shazam. I do hope it does happen in a few years but right now its looks to be batman 3, supes reboot, and then green latern/green arrow happening since those have the most development going so far. Flash/ww even though i do hope they happen soon are likely to be last since their development has been stalled for a long awhile.http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=getsmart.htm

does Y:TLM count in the eight movies? Because if so thats 3 known movies

Superman Reboot
Batman 3
Green Arrow escape from Supermax
Green Lantern
The Flash
Shazam!
Wonder Woman
Aquaman

According to Box Office Mojo, the film cost $80 million to make and it made $128 million domestically. Not exactly a hit, but it didn't underperform either.

Superman the reboot.
G.L.
Batman 3
Flash
Green Arrow
Wonder Woman
S Vs.B
J.L. (maybe)
