Eldest

I know Eragon was somewhat of a disappointment to fans of the book. However does anyone know if there are plans to make Eldest into a movie? Oh and is there going to be a DC of Eragon?

I just watched Eragon for the first time today and I enjoyed it, but I felt that a lot was cut out of the movie. I would assume a huge DC will be released eventually.
