Elephant...worth watching?

I recently heard about this movie and I never hear anybody on the boards talking about it...so is it worth watching?

I didn't like it. I don't even like Gus Van Sant to be honest. It is like he tries WAY to hard to be the artsy original director and he just ends up being boring and dull. The only movie of his I like is Good Will Hunting. He pissed me off by wasting my time with that pile of **** known as Last Days.

its defenitely worth watching, if anything for certain moments. fantastic cinematography, for one. though, a film as a whole, im not too sure how i feel about it. but i'd still reccomend checking it out.

Not really a gunfight but it's like a Columbine-like shooting.
Anyway, I just saw this movie and I loved it. The cinematagraphy was awesome. This is also the only movie that made me feel kinda sick after watching it(Not in a bad way just because of what happens). I can see why some people hated seeing as it was a really unconventional way of showing it but I really liked it.

it is very worth watching.
it's one of those movies that you watch but AFTER you watch it, it hangs around in your brain.
churning around with all these other ideas that make you see things later that you didn't catch on first glance.
gestures, movements, meanings.
Van Sant has been doing an awesome job.
Last Days is also very good and has the same effect.
in fact, when I first saw Last Days I didn't even like it.
but I kept thinking about it over the week and kept finding little interesting scenes and symbolism.
Elephant is easier to digest but every bit as haunting and any of Van Sant's better work.

Cinematography
