Elfman's Peter Parker Theme Vs. Ottman's Superman Emotional Theme

I like Ottman's theme. I do not know why there is just something moving about it.

Peter's theme. John Williams Superman theme is better than Elfman's Spider-Man, but Ottman's is not. Ottman's score doesn't get me into the story or movie, while Elfman's Spider-Man theme does.

Elfman seriously is the man.

BTW, is there a thread pitting all the superhero themes against each other?
