Are there any fans of the show? Should have started this thread from the very first episode but I missed the first 3.

It's a pretty good show so far from what I've seen of it. I've missed a few episodes though.

It has a nice time slot, and it works perfectly into my schedule for watching television. I've watched every episode. Looking for this show to go the long haul.

I think it's pretty clever how the title of each episode is named after a George Michael song and have the guy appear on the show and Jordan acting like a fanboy. Hehe.

Is there a love triangle going on between Eli, Taylor and Maggie?

I thought this week's episode was great, and touching.

This show seems to be getting better, & better. I wonder if the 1st season Finale is going to have to do with the Quake.

I love this show, I love the take on spirituality, I love the vast majority of the relationships... the Senior Partner, Weathersby, is especially cool, I even love the take on race with the new black lawyer...

I think the love (what is it? a pentagon now?) triangle is trite. A lot of the ways they're pulling it off is interesting... but I hate that a show feels like it HAS to have a love triangle.

But it's one of the best shows on TV.

I've been watching every episode. It's a great show. Is the first season cut due to the writer strike? Will we have a full 22 episode season or will there be only 13? Is this week new?

I watched the 1st episode and I wasn't really interested, so stopped watching.

I watch it, even though the setting and situation with brother reminds me a bit of a better show "Journeyman" which looks to be cancelled :down Kind of a little more comedic version of it to me :o

I did kind of think of Journeyman for a minute, but I like what they did different with it... instead of the Brother just supposed to not know, the brother knows, and doesn't believe it...

I felt like I never really "got" Journeyman... it never really did a whole lot for me. Maybe it was the Quantum Leap comparison... and the cause was never really touched on, like it is in Eli Stone.

Of course... what they SHOULD do is have a big ol team up. Throw the new Bionic Woman and Knight Rider in there for good measure. And that Amsterdam guy. That should fix most of the world's problems pretty quickly.

I kind of felt bad for Eli when the earthquake didn't happen. I want something big to happen so more people can believe him. I think his brother is starting to come around though.

I like this show, and I watch it but with new shows lately I worry about investing too much time or energy as they seem to just get cancelled right away anyways. But yeah I think I could watch this show just for Taylor and Maggie.

That's like a... Catch-22 situation. If the earthquake did happen, people will die but it didn't happen and that led to people not believing him. Maybe it's meant to be that way? It's good enough for me that Nate believes him after last week's episode.

I really like Taylor and Maggie but I don't want there to be a love triangle situation.

Oh so glad that Nate finally believes him, if they would have played that angle up then it would have been a little too journeyman-y for me. Yeah I really don't want the love triangle situation either, or quadrilateral or whatever they were trying to make it. For me either go for one, or the other and make the other one a friend. I mean seriously it is possible for men, and women to be friends and not turn it into a relationship.

I am not familiar with Journeyman. Is it really similar to Eli Stone?

Quadilateral with Matt Dowd in the picture. You're right. I hope Taylor doesn't end up with Matt, though. Maggie is sweet and all but I don't know if I want her and Eli together. I hate office romance!

Eli Stone to me, is kind of like Journeyman meets Ally McBeal. Journeyman had the kind of prophet thing going for it, plus the close relationship with the brother because the father was not really in the picture. But that show was a little heavier, took a more serious angle.

Ew yeah I don't want Taylor to end up with Matt either, and I'm not the biggest fan of Maggie and Eli, actually I'm with you, I don't like any of the office romance, I think I would have prefered that they kept Taylor at another firm or they bring in outside love interests for everyone.

I do find a bit of similarity between Eli Stone and Ally McBeal because both show are quite... strange and comical. Is Journeyman still shown on tv or is it already cancelled? What network was it on?

Did you watch last night's episode? O god! Taylor and Matt might end up dating and Eli's vision regarding Maggie. It didn't make me jump with joy. I dunno... maybe I'm jealous? I doubt it. Can't say I like what he saw, although I do want him to be happy.

I really like the plot of last night's episode and I loved what Eli said to the Warden and how he said it when they were talking about a settlement. And I hate Peg Bundy!

Next episode will air on Sunday and we might see the earthquake that Eli had earlier predicted.

Not to mention I must say, Kevin has much more range as an actor imo. See HBO's Rome as well. That may be my favorite series of all time actually in just the 2 seasons it had.

Earthquake
Brother

That's two ways, neither of which is approached similarly. If that's all it takes to be the same "direction" in "many" ways, then JM and ES are the exact same show, and somebody needs to be sued.

The Marci Kline character also itches me cuz she's got Peg Bundy's voice... it's so danged distinctive it grates me. It almost prevents me from taking her seriously. I also think Weathersby's scene was more powerful than the Earthquake scene... it was cool.

I totally forgot that a new episode was shown last night! I have to see it online now.

I rather enjoyed the earthquake episode, it was nice to see the payoff from earlier in the season.

Peg Bundy has to go, it was a nice experiment, and I understand where bringing in that character helps drive the story, but they didn't have to make it Peg Bundy. It's all I can think about, too much for me to take her seriously.

On a side note, how come in TV/ Movies 'Scott' is always the loser guy, or the boyfriend, why can't there just be a normal mainstream good looking guy in a major role named Scott for a change.

This show is fantastic. I have not missed an episode yet. I don't know if it's just me getting softer as I grow older, but them damn gay ass monkeys at the ending court scene got me all damn choked up. Is the earthquake episode the season finale?

The earthquake episode was great. I don't know if the season is over though. How many episodes did they get in before the strike? So far 12 episodes have shown. I would like to see a follow up to the earthquake episode.
