Assuming you'd want them to be made, which Elseworld's stories, or stories outside of the DCEU continuity would you like to see adapted into live action films?

I'd love to see Superman For All Seasons and Kingdom Come.

Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth
Gotham by Gaslight
Kingdom Come
Superman: Red Son

My favorite Batman story is The Dark Knight Returns, but they took so much from it for BvS, I don't know if they'd do it now

Batman Beyond
Kingdom Come
Arkham Asylum: ASHOSE (my favorite part of this story was the visual style. It could be really disturbing in live action. This one would definitely have to be R-rated)

Honestly they should just start adapting comic books like the animated movies are doing. Have. The regular DCEU for new stories but the Elseworlds banner for adaptations

I'd use this as an opportunity to make a Teen titans movie trilogy without having to think about things like "Oh how do I tie this into the DCEU effectively?"

I'm not opposed to the studio adapting Elseworld stories, but things might get a little confusing for the general audience considering they'll have a cinematic universe going on at the same time. And to be honest, I'd rather they focus their efforts on fixing their cinematic universe instead of splitting their time between that and unconnected one-and-dones.

If they do them, off the top of my head,

Kingdom Come (my all-time #1 g/n)
Red Son
Superman: Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?
The whole vampire-Batman trilogy (Red Rain, Bloodstorm, Crimson Mist)

Having said that...

... I agree with this.

Red son and Action comics #9 by Morrison with Kalvin Ellis as superman (played by Idris Alba).

Not really interested in any adaptations. Many of the popular ones are too dense to squeeze into a standard blockbuster runtime.

They're doing right, at least with this first Joker film, by simply doing a non-canon original story. I'm sure there's plenty of creatives in Hollywood who aren't necessarily comic book readers, but would love to put their own spin on these characters. Let them have at it rather than copying another team's work.

If that comic gets adapted into a movie then I hope all the imagery gets translated accurately to the screen.

I'm praying for a movie based on Kingdom Come with Jon Hamm playing Superman.

How many Elseworlds aren't focused on Batman or Superman. As long as they are picky and choose very different material it would be fine.

A Soviet Superman isn't going to confuse people.

Over saturated on the Worlds Finest would be.

A Soviet Superman might not confuse general audiences, but it doesn't seem like something that would appeal much to them, either. These projects need to either have mass appeal or be something that can be done on a smaller budget.
