This is only a test.

That's what the Federal Emergency Management Agency wants the public to know about the first nationwide test of the emergency alert system, scheduled for Wednesday.

The decades-old warning system is often tested locally, but it’s never been tested on every radio and TV station in the country at the same time, according to FEMA.

Spread the word. It's only a test.

2 pm? Good, won't mess up my prime time shows

I'll definitely make sure to put the least amount of attention to this. :o

Well it takes place when people are mainly at work or at school so it shouldn't be to hard.

Conspiracy theorists are having a field day with this

I wasn't planning on reacting anyway.

There's something not right about that guy, looks like he's from Total Recall or something.

It does look stolen from a cheap direct to dvd film.

Well, the test seemed like a failure. Cut off at "Nationwi--" waste of time. To me this test flopped and needs working. It was basically the sane as the current local weather alert test with that annoying beeping.

Eh, it's not like it ever came in handy. I mean, I seem to recall a very large emergency in September of 2001 that apparently didn't warrant an alert.

Well, this just shows, in case of an emergency, we're f**ked.

I didn't even know there was a test till just now when I read this thread. LOL I don't watch live tv or listen to the radio. oh well. :P
