Energy Drinks

When I worked Sunday morning brunch at my bar... I'd be so ****ing hungover and sleep deprived from the night before that my friend and I would chug magnum red bulls... sometimes 2-3 back to back.

We were so ****ing high off the sugar we might as well have been on drugs.

The best part of idiocracy is Upgradde... Two D's for twice the pimpage.

In my weed-smoking days I drank these, because they tripped me out like crazy;

I still drink them from time to time, and if you look real careful you'll find the Monster 'M' as a tattoo on an anime lady in a bakini's ankle (not pictured).

Anyone else get addicted to these?

At my job, people are always buying those Monster energy drinks and I didn't understand the big deal with them. So I ended up trying a Monster myself, and now I can't stop drinking them.

I drink them now and then, especially when I'm in Vegas and want to stay up longer

One thing I noticed, I seen parents buy the drinks for kids younger then 10. I have seen reports saying those drinks have too much caffeine for kids to be drinking

I haven't tried many energy drinks... the ones I've tried I don't enjoy.

I love it how people come into a thread to state how much they don't like the subject of the thread or that they have very little experience/knowledge with it. It's very rebel.

And the fact that Bamfer hasn't voiced his love of all things caffeine should be a crime.

Every couple of months or so I have a Bottle of NOS.

I tried a redbull once a couple months back...nothing really happened I didn't experience high energy or a crash.

That is ridiculous. Kids that young shouldn't even have the small amount of caffeine that is in regular soda. Giving a 70 or 80 lb kid an energy drink is an invitation to behavior and sleep problems.

The only ones I try to drink are the Starbucks ones. They taste really good, even though they aren't good for you.

or they could just be bouncing off the walls for hours

did saw a show on FX about a 13 girl who had problems after drinking one of them and I do know they been reports of people dying from drinking too many of them all at once

I heard drinking a red bull after a work out is really bad for you. Unless if u are this guy...

:bh:

then it probably won't really matter.

Of course it is... It gives you energy from an abundance of sugar and ginseng (which enhances caffeine's effects). You'll crash hard, and it goes completely against everything you just worked out for.

I knew a guy who had around ten (give or take a couple, probably give) drinks within an hour. His body began freezing and shutting down, saying it's because of (I'm not sure as to the extent of this) the taurine, which apparently acts as some sort of coolant.

That be awesome to see. I mean, it be bad and messed up, but...be interesting to see the side effects of drinking way too much of them.

I never was into energy drinks.

I guess the closest I've had to regularly drinking energy drinks was drinking Vault.

Now I tend to drink vitamin-fortified beverages.

I don't get it either. I understand the need to wart off exhaustion in situations like truckers and doctors have. So I understand their need for a moderate amount of caffeine. However, once a person gets into the habit of regularly chugging energy drinks so they can be jacked up all the time, that's a problem.

At the very least, I think the buyer should have to present an ID to prove they are over a certain age to purchase them.

I don't mind being told not to drink energy drinks all the time. However, when told to never drink it, from a person who can't go a single day without two cups of coffee... Well that's just hypocritical.
