I miss the old Ron Killings. If he'd get serious like he was then, he might be able to become a legitimate superstar.

I highly doubt he could get as racist as he did during the NWA-TNA days. But if he can get even half as angry as he was during that time, I would much prefer that to his current "WHAT'S UP?" gimmick.

I still remember his debut; doing that suicide plancha (or whatever the hell) over the top rope and causing a neck injury to... whoever the hell it was. Yeah, those original vignettes had me interested in him.

And he managed to overcome quite a bit of adversity to become a star. I recall his first match, he injured his opponent (I think it was one of the Los Boricuas). He was originally very horrible on the mic. I watched one of his first promos on youtube and he sounded very vanilla.

But he's become a multiple time world champion. He's put on memorable matches and he's a great character.

If he's retired, he will definitely be missed by me.

His dedication to develop into what he became is admirable. His initial gimmick I felt was trying to riff off Crow Sting but he found his right path with a more humorous approach in his post Brood tag team work, before his great heel turn that was cemented with the Lita stuff.

WWE always liked his look and gave him a lot of pushes, but through injuries and setbacks with a tame face run, he finally made it.

It was clear his performances were slowing down and decreasing in quality, but he will be missed and it's sad he went out so suddenly.
