Hopefully the Spider Tracers will show up at some point.

Their not really stretching credibility --- the tracers are basically just simple tracking devices.The question is whether they'd be attuned to his spider-sense or not.... in this case, I think I'd prefer something more along the lines of the animated series, or their earlier appearances.

I vaguely remember an interview with the producers I think around the time of the release of the first film, and they say they considered "non-biological" web shooters but then scrapped them for the organic shooter. Thus, I don't think we'll see them. I hope not anyway.

But for whom??
sandman?? I don't think so. Once sandman is in his sand-form and the tracer is gone.
Gobby?? I don't think so, cause Peter knows where Harry lives and where the Goblin lair is, so there's no need for a tracer.
The only possibility is Venom, but since he'll prolly be in the film for only 10 minutes, a tracer is unnecessary. I also think that Venom will find spidey and not the other way round.
