I've followed Smallville from the get-go and one thing i've gotten used to is being let-down when it comes to the so called climactic 'epic' showdowns Clarks has with his villains.
Once again, based on the spoilers, they promise us an 'Epic' fight in the finale between Clark and Zod.
I mean seriously for me, I feel that Smallville's definition of an "EPIC FIGHT" is pretty much one thats 15-20 seconds long and one (maybe two) punches, tops between the combatants.
From Bizarro to Doomsday to Brainiac to Lex (as Zod) they played these all up to be epic battles and w're incredibly underwhelming.
...for a more recent example, anyone remember the 'epic' showdown from Legion? When each hero fired off ONE shot at Icicle and that was it. It looked cool sure but an 'epic' fight...I think not.
I know i'm ranting but seriously, am I the only one getting tired of the oversell?
To be honest, the best fight i've seen thus far in 9 years of SV was the one he had against Titan...THAT was a fight.
