Stranger Things executive producer Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen are set to develop a haunted house drama
Epiphany for The CW, according to
THR.
Epiphany has a script commitment from the network. Its described as
in the vein of Stanley Kubrick and Agatha Christie. The show is a psychological thriller about a group of people who are recruited to a Gilded Age mansion to solve a mystery.
Epiphany will be written by Spenser Cohen (the upcoming film
Extinction) and will executive produce with Levy and 21 Laps. Cohens producing partner Anna Halberg will executive produce as well, with Lee Toland Krieger (
The Age of Adaline,
Life Sentence) who will also direct the pilot for Warner Bros. Television if the show moves forward. Emily Morris will oversee for 21 Laps.
