Same. Liked the idea when I first heard it. The concept is something I've wanted in Star Wars for a good while. But after the last few series, I was feeling a bit less optimistic. The trailers have been fantastic though, and the four leads look great. So I'm fully onboard.

Alright, we're cooking so far. Stellar visuals here, the pirate port in the second episode felt wonderfully lively and grimy. And I'll kill for Neel.

If anyone or thing hurts Neel, especially emotionally, Jon Watts is not safe from me.

I liked both episodes thus far. Show looks pretty good. It's nice to see life in the environments again, and I really like both locales we've explored. Not sure how well the show will continue to hold me with some of the stuff they're setting up not really being my thing, but it's enjoyable.

Star Wars, by way of Amblin and Pirates of the Caribbean? Yeah, this one's for me.

The show's not Andor. It's not an all time classic reinventing the wheel. What I like is that it's executing it's familiar ground with basic competency that has been missing from these shows outside of Andor since Mando s2x7.

So yeah, I really, really like it. Not hopeful for a second season, but I'll enjoy what I get.

I’m going to echo whatever everyone else has said and say, yeah, this is great.

Just from the get-go, the level of quality between this, and a lot of the other shows, save for Andor, is very immense and apparent. The setting, the premise, the acting, the dialogue, production design, VFX, etc., everything is firing on all cylinders. The people behind this clearly had a vision for what they wanted to do for the show and are executing it splendidly. They make it look so effortless. And John Watts prior experience working with child actors definitely is on display here. But, moreover, above all else, this just feels like a good, entertaining, fun, old-fashioned 80’s-style romp that not even some of the initial seasons of Star Wars Disney+ shows have been able to quite successfully capture. Those were trying to; this actually succeeds.

Can’t wait to see how everything unfolds.

Definitely some 1984, surveillance state conspiracy going on in At Attin with the security cam head droids and “the barrier“. Probably going to tie in with those myths about the treasure of At Attin those pirates were talking about.

Jude Law being a conman and not an actual Jedi, is so key here. Jedi, the force, lightsabers are of course my favorite things. But getting away from that, like with Andor, is much needed.

Really enjoyed these and the visuals are great. The New Republic era really looks quite different from the perspective of these kids. Hope it does well since it certainly wasn't cheap.
