Another solid episode. The fight scenes were great in this episode. Looks like Krista has come back to her senses. The series keeps getting better with each episode. Next week is already looking good.

Is next week the last Episode? It looks like it's really gonna have a hell of a cliff hanger if it is. Charlottes jet blowning, wow! Plus Chase and Krista have their long overdue lesbo scene...

I found it kinda of odd and out of character that Blade would cringe at the sight of the girl being tortured on tape

...anyway awesome episode. I knew Chase wouldn't betray Marcus plus Shen could teach Sticky a thing or 2 about the martial arts!

By far the best Blade ep, and it's no coincidence that it's an ep in which Krista is sidelined.

Sticky's Blade finally started to pick up some of the beats that were lacking mainly, humor. ("Go get some ice cream." "I think I see the light.") They also finally portrayed Blade as a badass, with the ease in which he took out Krista & the White Prince and the way Bethany reacted to him. And man, the way he took out the White Prince? Brutal. The fights were also a marked improvement. It was great to learn just a little more about Shen and see him in action.

This is how the Blade series should be, IMHO. The Daywalker taking out vamps and righting wrongs.

I agree. I actually enjoyed watching Sticky's portrayal. IMHO, this is my favorite episode to date.

Yeah, Krista, Chase and Marcus' secretary are good eye candy. Doesn't change the fact that 80% of the series should be about Blade and Shen killing vampires.

Shen kills the familiars, Blade takes out the vamps.

I love it.


Keep up the martial arts training Sticky. I'm starting to have faith in you.

Veeery good epsiode. Best one yet. I just loved the focus on Blade in this one. Finally we get to really see this guy cut lose. He's really made this Blade his own. Very much like the comic. I like.

I don't think he was cringing from the blood as much as was showing revulsion for what was happening to her. It was a subtle way of showing that Blade still has a heart.

This week was a kind of "back to basics" show. The focus was back on Blade and we got lots of action. Sticky had his best fight scene yet and ripping off the White Prince's jaw was AWESOME!

I've been complaining that the viewers don't know enough about Shen at this point. We got a glimpse into him tonight and his MA skills made for a great fight scene in his own right.

I liked the Krista detox storyline both from the standpoint of "rebooting" her mission after being intimate w/ MVS and reducing her for a week to give Blade the spotlight.

Next week, I'm wondering if that kiss between Krista & Chase is actually going to lead to them finally squaring off?

I want this series to keep going. I want it so, so much!

Yeah, it was great to see a solid focus on Blade this week, even though we got a bit of Shen when he's pushed. We needed a break from the "jokey gadget-man" schtick (not that I don't like it). And the show is still coming through with the gore, so mad points for that. I did like the detox subplot, as Krista really was at the edge.

They really are saving the best episodes for last! That was an awesome episode...Shen shows his weak spot for the damsels in distress but tore s*** up! God why couldn't this have been earlier in the season? They would've hooked so many second time viewers after the pilot with this one. I'm still a believer...a dedicated fan...I really hope this gets a well deserved second season...and to all haters out there...I hope Kirk Sticky Jones is still Blade in the next season!
...and where's the new Blade smiley face in the new icon options huh?!

It's funny how the White Prince's familiar call's Shen ,Blade's familiar. I always considered Shen as Blade's side-kick but techniqually speaking he 'is' Blade's familiar.

Next week looks like the FBI agent teams up with Blade.

Agreed. This episode was a blast. Although I think next time you're in a club you might wanna keep your eyes on your drink.

I'm going to have to go against the grain here, and say that I find the episodes that heavily feature Krista, Marcus and Chase to be infinitely more interesting.

The whole Blade strong silent type bores me to tears.

That said, it was still a decent episode. Had a very different feel to some of the episodes that preceded it.
