Episode 11 - "Fallout" - Discussion Thread

Plot Summary:

The tragic events in Texas have sad, serious repercussions for many of the "heroes," their families and friends. Meanwhile, shocking details about the moments leading up to Issac's predicted New York City nuclear bombing are revealed. Later, Issac's newest painting has fascinating future implications for a hero in crisis. Mohinder takes the first steps along his new path. Matt and F.B.I. Agent Audrey Hanson pursue a break in the Sylar case. Horrified by Jessica's recent actions, Niki makes a tough decision to protect her family.

Please discuss.

apparently, someone dies....my bet is on DL (but it's probably wrong)
after all, he did get shot and he didn't appear to phase or attempt to phase
besides, we barely know DL, and they wouldn't kill off a MAJOR character this quickly

no it has to be isaac, his powers are either to great or just important to bring them together

and i wish it was nikki/jessica who dies, that character sucks

Maybe Eden and Haitian turn on Bennett and let Sylar off him.

Or maybe Nikki gets tired of Jessica and kills her...losing her apparent powers.

I'm calling it right now...HRG dies. I was going to say Mohinder, but hes one of the poster boys for the show lol.

Not to mention that if HRG dies, then that gives Claire serious motivation to hunting down Sylar with the other Heroes.

Issac Mendez is going to die. He was originally suppose to have died in the first episode after he cut his own hand off and bleed to death while trying to quit heroin cold turkey. I think Sylar is going to kill him next week.

Ya know, I suppose that should be obvious to everyone seeing as how Hiro went into the future and showed the body.

But that happened in November and it's only currently October

They haven't done much with her though she would be a good villain for the heroes to face. They should be able to expand on her character and make her better.

But if it's Isaac's destiny to die, perhaps capturing Sylar changed Isaac's date of death.

I know he doesn't have powers but
My guess is Ando

That would be sad since it would really hurt Hiro and he would consider changing that.

HGR will not die, period. Jack Coleman (the man who is Mr. Glasses) becomes a series regular after new episodes begin.

The people who will not die:
Peter - so far the main character, may have healing power.
Nathan - The actor that plays him says he will get much darker - further stories here.
Claire - Save the Cheerleader. Save the World. She is another main character.
Hiro - Future Hiro shows up again in later episodes.
DL - after two shows ending with him being shot at by a sniper, there is no way THAT is the major death.
Mr. Glasses - Reason Above.
The Kid - I dont think NBC has the guts to kill him.

People who could die:
Matt - He is the only character, right now, who has no relation to the other characters.
Issac - He COULD die, I just think his ability to paint the future is too good a toll for NBC to use to inspire interest in future plot lines.
Niki/Jessica - she is my least favorite character so I am a bit biased, but they have spent too much time on her to just end her this quickly probably.
Ando - More death surrounding Hiro?
Eden - she may be too powerful to keep as a character.
Hatian - His death would mean little, we know nothing about him - but it could happen.

maybe Niki will try to kill herself? but most likely not succeed due to Jessica. since shes there to "protect" Niki. it be awesome to see somesort of innerfight scene between the two switching back and forth in a room of mirrors

I'm putting my money on Eden to die.

Next week's episode looks awesome. From I see it looks like whatever city the heroes are in is completely abandoned. And that only the heroes are left standing. The start of the big battle ?

As for my guess as to who bites the dust. Nikki, she might as well join her dead sister.

with Hiro's help...he and Peter have already changed or set enough events in motion to avert Sylar off-ing Isaac. But ultimately I think he'll blow his own brains out to quit the pain and his inner turmoil. His purpose has almost been served...if some of the heroes die off naturally or in a way in which Sylar can no longer get to them...some good has been done. But I'm not looking forward to anyone major dying....I'll be really upset if that happens:csad: Since I have grown to love some of these characters.

It'll definitely be a cliffhanger for sure...omg what if its Ando? No real powers, no real purpose other than moral support for Hiro...I don't even want to think of that. Maybe Nathan's wife...so many runner ups...

i'm sure its ted the guy with the nuclear powers. in homecoming it said something like someone will die and it turned out to be the other cheerleader, jackie. fallout as a title makes me think the city will blow up, and the previews make it look like peter absorbs hiro's powers and transports himself into a uninhabited nyc.

but then didnt we learn from Charlies story that Hiro cant save those who die. Nature will end up finding a way to kill them. she was destined to die one way or another. so its still highly possible that He can be the one who dies

Ted will die and Sylar will steal his powers.

How come no one seems to be excited that next week the Haitain actually SPEAKS! :D And it looks like he's attempting to mindwipe Clarie.

Seriously, it looks like Matt, Peter, and Hiro are going to meet each other and actually exchange some information, which will definately get things really moving. Although I'd really hate that the new catch phrase after "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" looks like its going to be "How to you stop an exploding man?"

My first guesses would be Issac, as he has already died in an alternate timeline, or even the Radiation guy, but maybe, just maybe Sylar bites it, at the hand of Mohinder in payback for his fathers death! :D

I betting either it's Ted or Issac. Ted is my obvious choice. But with Issac it seems that not matter how you try to change the future if he's meant to die than he is gonna die as it was with Charlie.
