In Arrow 1×13 “Betrayal” guest starring David Anders – Cyrus Vanch (David Anders), a nefarious criminal, is recently released from prison and intends to re-secure his position as leader of the underworld. His first step is to take down his biggest opponent in the city — Arrow (Stephen Amell). Meanwhile, Oliver shows Moira (Susanna Thompson) his father’s notebook and questions her about the names on the list. Thea (Willa Holland) is miserable as she starts her internship with Laurel (Katie Cassidy) at the legal aid office and Detective Lance (Paul Blackthorne) makes a deadly mistake that puts Laurel in the crosshairs of Vanch. David Ramsey and Colin Donnell also star.

Probably Dinahs best episode to date I would have to say.

it was a great episode. DO NOT WATCH PROMO AFTER. spoils cliffhanger

Having there be 2 "deathstrokes" is an interesting idea....

Yeah, I'm not sure I 100% like it but I think it's obvious as to what's going to happen. The deathstroke mask we saw in the pilot is defo not slade's.

It was a really good ep. Especially liked the end scene

Awesome episode!

I got big chills when he said
"Moira Queen, you've failed this city!"

Cannot wait till next week!

Agree that was great.

And [blackout]Oliver taking out all the guards to get to Laurel was probably his most bad ass moment in the series so far IMO.[/blackout]

Great episode with Oliver at his badass when it comes to Dinah, who was put in harm's way by her dad. It seems whatever Felicity did last week is being felt in this episode when Oliver didn't believe it throughout and the end scene leads into next week's episode. This is why I'm enjoying this series as one episode leads into the next, whereas Smallville has self-contained episodes except when it comes to season finales.

I've never seen this Manu Bennett guy act before, but I'm loving him already. I can already picture him as Deathstroke.

I got big chills when he said
"Moira Queen, you've failed this city!"

You could almost hear the conflict and disbelief in his voice when telling her that. It was almost like he was telling her, "Moira Queen, you have failed your family."

Nice episode, things are progressing.

Did not like that Oliver does not realize the number of Arrows he has, yea just starting out but thats still sloppy. Also thought it was silly how the episode ended. I thought he was gonna go get more details not conclude shes already guilty.

They should get this stunt team to handle the next batman film incursions, the stuff in this ep was pretty on point. Loved when he crashed the office too. This is what I've been missing from bats.
(using the mini projectile to disarm the detective was also good).

I prey that Slade ends up with grey hair. Manu would look gnarly with it.

Glad reception on Slade is good! I got kind of R'as vibe from his voice, but he was still his own character. Loved it.

He's just going to interrogate her but the whole line "you have failed this city" has been used repeatedly by him against someone he knows is guilty. Also did he really need to bust through a window and take out the guards, couldn't he have just come out of the shadows somewhere when she's alone.

Then again I understand its just to be dramatic. He has to say some cool line and swing through a window.

Wow just wow. Best episode yet. Now that is my kind of superhero show

Incredible episode. Second favoriitr behind the dark archer one. Manu reminded me of Neeson and I loved it.

I hope Slade and Ollie will eventually be at each other throats after the 5 years. I like how they are forced to work together now, but I don't want them to remain like friends. And I hope we'll eventually get to see the two Deathstrokes fight. Honestly, I didn't see that coming, that they are a two man team.

Amazing episode this show just gets better and better each week. Vantheman77 I agree with you 100% about the episodes tying into each other it gives the story arc more depth.

I think it's going to get more better when they build up to the season finale.

This episode was great. The guy playing Slade is fantastic. And that ending! :wow:

Much better than last week's episode.

Ollie should really just stick with the voice changer at all times.

Oh, and the best thing, there was barely any Thea in this Episode.

I did find it weird that they kept Malcolm's voice a secret.
