I'm surprised that there hasn't been a thread created for this episode yet. Personally, I thought it was another great episode and it really moved along several plots nicely.

Awesome episode. I despise Ollie's mom. She is such a b*tch, but she acts like she is a great mother and good person. She should be in jail for the rest of her life

Good episode for Roy Harper as they plant the seeds of him becoming Green Arrow's sidekick with the foreshadowing of him holding an arrow in red lighting.

They ended the Sarah Lance arc very badly and I don't like their reasons for bringing in Dinah Drake Lance. She could be used in relation to her daughter, Dinah Laurel, and not about Sarah.

We get to see what screwing up in a mission can do to Felicity when lives are at stake.

Poor Moira, I can see being among those who will be gone at the end of the season as Frank is gone at the hands of the returning Dark Archer.

It seems to me that they're developing Oliver in the flashbacks more so in the present and that really is bothering as this results in little to no movement forward in the present day.

That tool Nicholson is Mr. Toole from Hell On Wheels!!!

Only thing I didn't care for was the wrap up of the "Is Sarah alive?" plot. Overall though, great episode. 8.5/10 but I'll be generous on the poll and lean to a 9.

I know I shouldnt cause its cheesy and silly but I cant help but smile at all the comic references. Like Roy benig afraid of needles and Laurel's mother's line "I'm taking the red-eye to Central City, should be home in a flash." :D

I didn't catch the "should be home in a flash" part. That's great!

I dunno, something about this one didn't hit the spot for me.Maybe it was yet another action scene with Arrow out of costume or the generic style villain.

The island stuff is progressing nicely and I liked the way they're working Roy in it a little at a time. The end of the "search for Sara" felt kinda flat. And yeah,I called it early-Moira set up Mr Lau to take the fall.(I admit I liked the little "Lady Macbeth" scene)

Not an awful episode, but a little weaker than last week.Looking forward to the Count's return next week.7/10

I wish she just winked at the camera, just slightly... it was almost said too loudly and obviously with some rip shod poor acting... so why not top it off with a wink to the camera.

it's like blur de blur de blur CENTRAL CITY... blur de blur de be home in a FLASH... haha get it, for the fans! wink wink

What Moira did was a dick move, but honestly, what else could she have done? Malcolm would have found out about Lau's involvement on his own and eventually made the connection to Moira, both would have been killed and he would have also killed both their Families. Really, even though I'm sitting here and am thinking "What a b**ch.", with her betrayal only one person died.

Another great episode. The music that played when Ollie was entering the subway car reminded me a lot of the music from the plane heist in TDKR.

Lots of this episode reminded me of TDK.

Lau talking about wiring money to some shady place.

Diggle: "You gonna hood up"
Ollie while leaving: "It's the middle of the day"

The villain using that handycam as well as him saying "What's the difference between you and me ?"

The Dark Archer is great and Felicity gets sweeter with every episode.

I agree with vantheman77 that Ollies character development takes place more on the island than with present day Ollie. They'll probably want to switch that around at some point. But still, the island stuff keeps getting better and better.

I'm hoping Roy Harper doesn't get recruited by Ollie but instead just starts solo and is then taken in and trained by Green Arrow.

Loved the development of Roys character in this episode.

I really find myself uninterested in the Lance family,I hope they downsize their screentime next season.

As usual, the island stuff with Slade etc was badass :)

The leaping Ollie did between buildings>Clark's leap from Daily Planet

Thought it was a pretty good episode....knew that wasn't Sara (you could hardly see her face in the previous episode). I liked it when Roy was examining the arrow and red light was shining on him.

The showrunners have stated that Arrow is influenced by the Nolan Batman films numerous times.

The CBS Flash show was influenced by Burton's Batman films.
I know I shouldnt cause its cheesy and silly but I cant help but smile at all the comic references. Like Roy benig afraid of needles and Laurel's mother's line "I'm taking the red-eye to Central City, should be home in a flash." :D
I thought the comic references in this episode were cool as well :woot:

I have yet to warm to Roy.

Poor Mr Lau can't catch a break in the DC universe burned alive by the Joker or shot in the back my archer Merlyn.

This is the second time I've heard Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's Hate The Taste on a tv show this week.

Has Moira met the Dark Archer before? She didn't even seem bothered by him "enforcing" Malcolm's plans. I wonder if the idea of a Dark Archer was apart of the Undertaking plan?

I kept thinking the lost sister subplot was dumb but they redeemed it in the end with the revelation that the mother let her go with Oliver. I'm glad Laurel caught that there was no way her mother could know that Sara brought that hat with her. It was also nice to see Oliver trying to SAVE a life for a change, and maybe it's just me, but when the vigilante (name?) asked Arrow what's the difference between them, I think that that message finally got through to Oliver, hopefully building up to his renouncing of his killing policy. Great episode.

I really liked this episode.

I hope this means the end of Roy's "I hate rich people" attitude they gave him.

Anyone else notice the jacket Ollie wore while jumping the rooftops is identical to Jason Todd's Red Hood one?

Another great episode. Loved the ending with Ollie telling Laurel about not wanting to be on an island and his "getting there" to Dig. Just wanna know what this 'undertaking' is finally.

Good episode. The "Mr Merlyn" at the end had me laughing.

Dark Knight reference: Ollie not wanting to "Hood up" because it's daytime and cruising down the streets on a motorcycle and helmet.

im guessing the undertaking is going to involve destroying the glades using the abandoned subway, so basically like th league of shadows in batman begins lol

I was disappointed the the kidnaper wasn't wearing hockey pads.

All of the show's rip offs from the TDK trilogy are starting to bother me
