Soooooooo, do they now know that Sam is Reign??????? A little confusing.

I doubt it. But this team-up could be fun.

I mean, we still don't know what happened when Reign turned on Ruby.

Yay, Livewire is back.

Also, add another brick to my theory of how the season will end...

Sounds like fun. I loved Psi so great to have her back. But they need to start building up Supergirls female heroes cast tbh.

If she actually turned on Ruby.....we don't even know if that is what happens. She may turn and have a black eye or something from the fight that we didn't see injuries behind the mask....who knows.

I kind of meant turned, as in turned around.

Great to see both Livewire and Psi returning. Someone pointed out elsewhere that Livewire is the show's equivalent of Captain Cold.

I think both Livewire and/ or Psi will betray Supergirl and Saturn Girl.

This and Legion of Superheroes should be a good one.

Does beg the question of how/why don't they just win? The fight with Reign showed Reign as being more powerful than Kara, but not *that* much more. They've yet to show a good reason why dogpiling her with superhumans shouldn't work.

I'm not sure that that would be enough, as it wasn't enough when ALL of the Arrowverse was practicing against Supergirl and she was pretty much having fun in last year's crossover. So add to that the fact that she wasn't going full mojo. With Reign the difference between her and Kara was that Kara was fighting "not to kill" Reign could care less. If the Legion was formed from the ideas of Supergirl, then they probably are "no kill" as well.....I don't know, I know very little about them. As far as Livewire and Psi, who knows if Supergirl has put up the barrier of no kill with them.

Also, Reign could be developing as she goes here....

Let's just wait and see how badly Reign kicks the Legion's ass before we make any assumptions.

If it goes anyway like the original JLA vs Doomsday fight, the Legion may not be able to fight.

Which is how it should be....could it be that Mon-el and Brainiac 5 are put out of commission in Ep. 10 and that is why there is another team up in Ep. 11???

That makes a ton of sense.

Someone pointed out elsewhere that Alex may be injured in the Legion episode hence why she's babysitting Ruby.

There are crutches in one of the promotional photos for the Legion ep, in a scene that looks like the end of the episode, so I think that sounds pretty likely.

It's time for Earth-38 to have its own community of superheroes forming and Reign may be the cause of it. We have Superman, Supergirl, Martian Manhunter, Miss Martian, Mon-El, Saturn Girl, and Brainiac 5. Not to mention Livewire and Psi who are both villains.

If Fort Rozz is still in space, I'm guessing they're using either Martian Manhunter's car ship or the Legion of Superheroes' ship if they haven't repaired it already to get there.

#1. That would crash the budget to use them together for more than a few episodes.
#2. I already see it on the other shows as a complaint and I agree, far too many people with super powers on each of these shows. So much so that the leads are being pushed to the side.

I hear more and more on Flash this season, and definitely on Arrow last season and this season, and then the budget is getting ridiculous and could bring LoT to a close far too soon.

I can see two episodes at best and probably for the season finale.

That wouldn't be a problem......though I'm not sure that I want them in the finale....it would depend on how they are used I guess.

Call me gun shy with these writers, but I'm not confident that they will give Kara a decisive Supergirl win in the finale. I've seen remarks made from Reign fans that they want her to be redeemed and that she sacrifice herself in the end, effectively winning the battle for Kara. Whereas from a story telling perspective, all indications should take us to a conclusion that Kara will ultimately defeat Reign, a Sacrifice made by Reign will pretty much mute the pay off to non existent.

If this was an actual story where the protagonist is actually Reign, i.e an anti hero's journey to end as a tragic hero, it would make sense. But since she isn't the protagonist, and Kara is, lets hope they focus on what makes story sense and emotional sense for Supergirl's journey. We're only a little more than 1/3 way through the season, and I really hope they are excited for Kara's character plot as much as the writers are sometimes giddy over Reign's plot. Both are important, I just don't want Kara's plot to get lost again.

I've also seen some thinking and wanting that it will be Alex that will 'save' Kara and be the one to kill Reign, so that Kara 'doesn't have to kill'. Although I think this is a bit of a stretch, I also remember how many players, Superman, MM and even Kara herself was put out of commission to allow Alex to be the hero in the last 2 episodes of S1, so who knows? I guess I don't have much confidence in the writers. But I can hope.

She never decisively defeated Reign in the comics.....she gets to Reign by using another Worldkiller and in order to keep her group intact and strong Reign and the other Worldkillers leave. Kara never actually defeats her...

My hope is that she isn't redeemed nor is she defeated and we get to see her in other episodes in later seasons. I do not believe my hope is going to come true....but ya never know.

Yeah, my ideal outcome for all of this is Reign choosing to leave the planet due to something Kara does/says - but still very much still undefeated. I'd love to have her out there as a threat that the Kryptonians are no match for who could hypothetically return any time.

I think the point of an overwhelming physical threat like Reign to heroes like the Supers is that it forces them to find some other way to "win." And one of my favorite attributes of Superman in particular is that unlike many of his superhero colleagues, his first instinct when encountering a villain is to understand them rather than to fight them. There was a great little Action Comics arc during the New 52 called "What Lies Beneath," where Supes is called in to assist with a newly discovered subterranean city populated by scary "monsters" only for Supes to recognize that one of the monsters going on a "rampage" is merely going through something similar to what he was going through when he was first coming to terms with his powers as a boy and that this "monster" was essentially just a misunderstood, scared little child.

The point being, we've had two seasons end with Supergirl facing her villains in a physical showdown. Time for Kara to have to find another way, imo.

The pics are out from this episode. This one cracked me up:

When I imagined Livewire out there in the world trying to be less of a villain, this is so NOT what I pictured, lol.

Honestly though, this ep looks good, imo. I kinda wish we could skip right to this one, given how disappointing the Legion looks.

Lol that is a funny picture, can't wait for that scene. And her hair actually looks good!

Apparently creepy Krypton woman is played by the OG Ursa from Reeves Superman movies!
