Looks like they went back to the old title! Official description:

SHOCKING SEASON FINALE – Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and team take on Serena in an epic battle for Earth. Jesse Warn directed the episode written by Robert Rovner & Jessica Queller (#323). Original airdate 6/18/2018.
Pretty sure "Serena" is actually meant to be Selena, aka The Evil Worldkiller-Controlling Lady. Jesse Warn has become one of my favorite directors of this show, so I'm glad to see he's doing the finale this time. He nails the emotional stuff.

Weird that this description was released before 3x22's.

Maybe they're saving Supergirl Returns for the next season.

It's going to be similar to last season finale.

Extended promo:

Looks like we're finally getting at least one awesome feat of telekinesis from Imra.

People are going to think that Saturn Girl is imitating Jean Grey, but it's really the other way around because the Legion of Superheroes were created before the X-Men.

Legion of Superheroes first came on the scene in 1958 during one of the Silver Age Superboy's comics series, Adventure Comics. This year would be the 60th Anniversary of the Legion of Superheroes.

I expect everyone will have their character moments before getting down to the final battle between Supergirl Vs. Reign & Priestess.

Wow lets pilfer Man of Steel shall we? :funny:

In all seriousness though the finale looks good. Fingers crossed.

In this video Melissa promises we will have closer and all the answers.

As I recall last year at 2017 upfront she apologized in advance for making us cry.

Why did you have to take your helmet off? You could've said that to her in your batman voice?

Erika Durance looks AWKWARD flying, they couldnt even keep her frame lol.

Pop culture references don't really work with Kara saying them, it just doesnt flow well.

This is the longest goodbye ever. On Arrow characters dont get to say goodbye to each other before they die, on Supergirl we get like 5 episodes of them dying and saying goodbye. Ok wait....did J'onns dad dying seal the earthquake thing?

"Meanwhile, Superman saved Madagascar."

I guess Lois and Clark were on holiday in Madagascar.

The fountains are right next to each other?

So they stop one plague only for another one to come about! lol ok.

So they need 21st century smart person to save the future smart A.I.s. And of course Mon-El is the only one who can help save it, along with Winn.

So Winn is Doc Brown and Brainy is Marty trying to convince him that he's not a screw-up by showing him his flux capacitor from the future? OK, Got it.

This Alex/I need a kid right this second storyline......

This would be the perfect episode to rip off Buffy and have Kara spare Reign but then have J'onn or Alex come up and kill her behind karas back.

Supergirls Canary Cry effect is so damn good. Arrow needs to rip them off.

This entire scene could've had more weight to it if they had choreographed it better.

All of this just so they could Wicked Witch her? Throw some water on her and she melts.

and Supes dad said it's forbidden to change the time line! She pulled a Barry, now I wonder what mess will come from this

Really? Why couldn't they just steal this? Yeah it was basically the superior version of what we got on SG but SG needs all the good storytelling it can get.

The whole Reign/Sam storyline started off REALLY strong but it ended just really mediocre.

Alex's storyline could've been a bit better if she had gone through some near death experience.

Ok so wait....Alex goes "I want to step back and start my life" so J'onn goes "no...I want to start MY LIFE, and you take MY PLACE!"

I am just never a fan of when these shows move their characters up to the big leader roles in their jobs. Oliver becomes Mayor but doesnt really do anything, Laurel becomes DA, Felicity becomes a CEO, it just leads to stale stories.

So what is the moment where Kara decided that Earth is her home vs. just dipping out to Argo?

.....ok. We alreazy got Bizzaro Girl so what is this?

A Kara in Siberia. Even though she wasn't born there, are they doing some kind of odd take on Red Son?

Red Daughter, maybe?

Some of the rumors concerning spoilers didn't come true such as Superman appearing or Lena going insane & experimenting on people. As for James revealing himself as Guardian, they didn't pull a Black Lightning.

Longest goodbye only because it's a goodbye to both J'onn and Winn, who are original cast members from the beginning.

Some of the other characters are left open-ended for the door to remain open for future returns.

Saturn Girl got a cool moment in using her telepathic powers.

The second Kara in Siberia is the result of the split from the Black Kryptonite. She could be the evil Kara on the surface, but she could the one who was dwelling on killing Reign and got her mother and Mon-El killed as well. We may see an Earth-38 version of Overgirl for the 4th season.

The perfect theme for the 4th season is - Reign of the Supergirls!!

Yeah, been out for awhile....

Hey Flickchick....you are more familiar with Superman lore than I am, what arc could they be developing for this next season of Supergirl from the Superman comics? Seeing the end of the finale?

OK, just heard that it is possibly from the graphic novel "Elseworld's"....
or
"Red Son" story line from Superman.

Just got home and haven't watched it yet, but if they are setting up a Supergirl version of Red Son...WHAT? Classic story, but it's an Elseworld for a reason - I can't fathom that story working in a main continuity at all.

I like Chris but this makes me very happy.

You will understand after you watch it...lol That is all I'm saying.
