I thought overall episode 3 was well done. On the bright side Blade didn't get whipped in the big fight scene. The story seems to be heading in an interesting direction. I like how they depict how Krista is dealing with being a vampire. The scene with her mother and then the scene in the alley with the two guys was very well done. The next episode looks solid from the preview. I hope they keep it up.

I like how they're slowly building the Detective Boone sub-story. It'll be interesting how it plays out.....
...and yes, i like the fact that Blade didn't get his ass whipped in this episode, too.

I agree with you Golgo. I like how the Investigators are piecing the facts together as well. When that scene was playing out it reminded me of CSI.

I love how they're taking every opportunity to cut to Jill Wagner in various states of undress.

Seriously, I knew Jill Wagner would be nice to look at but I had no idea she would have these kind of acting chops. She's quite good.

This series has started to grow on me. It's gotten better and more interesting with every episode. The action is light but the story has been top notch. They're really pushing the limits on what you can say and show on TV.

Next week looks GREAT. Finally, a storyline that will probably actually revolve around Blade! I was glad we got more Blade this time, too. And the gambling vampire guy was actually kinda funny.

Very good episode. Each one is better than the last. The fight scenes are up a notch and Sticky's beginning to look more Blade-like. Not necessarily movie Blade but comic book Blade as well, and I dig that. This Blade was centered more around Blade and we got to see what this guy can do and I'm pleased.

I've gotten so used to watching TV shows on DVD. I think when the first season is done it will be good to be able to watch the season in its entirety. I know I said this on a earlier post but I would love to say it again....

I don't know about that, other than the "holy ****!" in the first episode. It's been pretty light on gore and sex compared to some shows.

Well, the Blade movies have never been much for depicting sex, so if you wanna get technical, that scene in the motel with the couple goin' at it was the most risque of any live-action Blade entity, film or tv show (I still can't get over the fact that even with every film having a hard "R" rating, they never had anyone nude up!). Blade may not be completely Blade without some "F" bombs, but I think the language is pretty up there.

As for gore, did you not see Krista get impaled last week?!? That was a mess. And unlike Buffy, the feeding aftermaths are actually bloody!! I can't stand shows that have vampires feeding on people, and they've got NO BLOOD on their face or teeth!

Next week looks GREAT. Finally, a storyline that will probably actually revolve around Blade!

Yeah, that would be nice. They had to hit that fool with a Mac truck!

I believe the next airing will be on Sunday at midnight and Monday at 8 pm. Those are central time. They may show it again on a earlier day. But I know I have seen the show air at those times where I live.

I am now officially a fan of this show. Wasn't feeling the pilot, second episode was better, this week I really liked it, & next week looks to be better still.

not seen the new episode yet being in the uk its harder for me to do so but i slated the first episode to my own regret cos the second episode got me hooked and im loving it now...yes the acting was poor to start with but has anyone noticed how quickly they are improving?

and how hot is Krista Starr? mmmmm vampires already have some mysterious sexy thing going for em but she just hightens it.
