This is my new comfort show.

I was so down on the Jude Law casting when I thought he was a Jedi. Thought we'd get the usual stoic Jedi. No, he gets to be a heel and it's fantastic.

Adore the kids. Loved the owl. Dug the old school sci-fi music.

So much more progression then you usually get on these shows. It's refreshing for the characters and story to be going places.

Definitely feeling the POTC vibe in this episode. Or, the fun POTC vibe. Ironically , with its own Captain Jack, own who isn't sleep walking a tired old performance.

Credits had some fun cameos. Alia Shawkat as the owl is great. Alfred Molina as Jack's old buddy was a surprise.

I am finding the mystery of At-Attin interesting. Honestly with how old the mystery is implied, and given the pirate nature of the show, I would love it if Maz Kanatta had surprise appearance. (Sue me, I really grew to like the character after she and Dexter Jetser had a pirate adventure with a rebellious teenage Padawan)

Neel's little snore is too precious for this world.

Pity for the culture warriors who liked the show but are now forced to hate it because of background gays.

The downside of liking this show so much is wanting to wait until they're all out to binge them for that instant gratification but I don't think I could stand waiting that long.

Loved the owl.
Same. And according to the credits, she was voiced by Maeby Fünke?! I knew that voice was familiar, I couldn't quite guess who but that's awesome.

I'm not big on binging these days. Like to spread out stuff I'm enjoying. But I want to binge this one so much. I keep going back to the trailers trying to find out where we're headed.

One detail I missed on the first watch through is the mural in Fern's home. I am assuming it has to do with the hiding of At Attin. Not getting much when I've gone back to look at it, other than seeing other aliens that are on At Attin.

Another fantastic episode IMO and now I see why some people are comparing this to POTC because I'm definitely getting those same fun, swashbuckling vibes from the set pieces which are great btw.

It's just crazy to me how cinematic and BIG in terms of scope this looks and feels compared to the previous SW shows and I can also finally see where all the money went as well.

Jude Laws character is so fun to watch, and I love seeing him interact with these kids and the other pirates and I'm really enjoying the tension/back and forth he's having with Nick Frosts character.

Alfred Molina being in something SW related is really cool too.

Three episodes in and I highly enjoy this show way more than expected. Jude Law is perfect casting here, and I loved the owl character. I hope this whole sense of adventure keeps up, and the apparently mystery of At Attin outside their own world suddenly got interesting.

I couldn’t even tell, and I’m fairly good at spotting these kinds of things.

It’s so crazy to think we’re at the point where, given the proper time and effort, a CGI recreated facsimile of a practical animatronic head can look distinguishable from the genuine article.

Fun show so far! As a Jude Law fan I'm all in for it. I do hope at some point he gets a proper swashbuckling pirate outfit, though! Something with a big swingy coat and bold colors. What does the Star Wars universe have against bold colors?
