Episode 9.04 - Casting Sides

WTF----
Thought Hearing??
Wonder how that comes about. Must just be for the one episode.

Thanks for posting BTW!

Heh, reminds me of of when AlMiles thought about introducing new powers for Clark that he would eventually outgrow. Bit late for that now though.

Looks like this ep will be called "Echo". And it's BQM's first ep of the season.

Oh, God, thought-hearing? WTF.

At least it's not "soul vision"

I imagine it will only be for the one episode though, I'm sure to advance some type of romantic angle between Lois and Clark.

Clark seems different. More like the bumbling version than his regular self...

could be. maybe we get to see the geek side of him...

yeah I'm not a fan of that version myself but it seems like that's the only Clark people know of

Not sure if this thread will double as the spoiler thread for the episode but here's the official description:

The CW's Official Description (Posted 9/24/09): THE TOYMAN RETURNS AND TAKES OLIVER HOSTAGE — Tess (Cassidy Freeman) forces Oliver (Justin Hartley) to come to a Queen Industries gala to put the Board at ease, but things go awry when the Toyman (guest star Chris Gautheir) shows up with a bomb and a plan to take revenge on Oliver. The Toyman tells Oliver he must confess to murdering Lex or he will blow the place up. Meanwhile, as part of his training, Jor-El gives Clark (Tom Welling) the ability to hear other people’s thoughts. Allison Mack and Erica Durance also star. Posted on KryptonSite. Wayne Rose directed the episode written by Bryan Q. Miller (#3X5254).

didnt we make an official echo thread i thought we did. But nice to have the official description. i guess we didnt, maybe a mod can retitle the thread like the other episode threads, same goes for episode 5,6,7,8, need to be renumbered.

Oh, God... ugh. UGH. I don't care what anyone says, now having read the official description, I can definitely say that the idea sounds like CRAP to me. Ugh.

well yea it does sound like a silly idea, but we dont know how things will turn out. Could be a crummy episode, or it could be a very good episode. Plus we dont know how long he will have this power.

Well, if the power isn't gone by episode's end, then... No, it'll be gone by episode's end. I'
I'll be interested to see how they try and make such a silly, silly Silver Age idea contribute to the season's story, Clark's growth, and how it could possibly better his training but, ultimately, not be an ability that stays with him.

are clark and lois doing it in the barn?

It's interesting to note that Clark has a bruise/cut on his check.. could he have lost his powers and thus been able to play hide the soap with Lois?? hmmm

from the preview, this episode is going to be an interesting one!

oh and I would definitely play hide the soap with Lois. :woot:

could be. Also on a side note any chance a mod could alter the title to match the other episode title threads? Yea what guy wouldnt want to play hide the soap with lois hehe.

Some how I think this is just part of Lois's flashforward... I mean I don't think they would jump into a Lois/Clark sex scene already. In real time anyway..,

Though glad Toyman is back. Wonder if he is still working for Lex...
