Episode 9 "Angels and Demons" review thread.

I knew that FBI boss was a familiar. I'm glad we're finally getting some background on Marcus.

Wow....that was a great episode!!! It makes you look at Marcus in a different light. I wonder how things are going to be between Blade and Krista next episode. If appears she has turned her back on Blade. I'm also wondering if the Cop will make contact with Blade considering he has no one else to turn to.

That was a VERY good episode. It would be a shame if Sticky's below average portrayal of Blade (who should be the most commanding presence of all the cast members) were to keep this show from surviving for another season.

Next weeks show looks good (Shen looks to use his martial arts...hmm....what a concept, maybe Sticky should try some). This weeks show was very good.

I hope the show last at least another season.

All of a sudden I like Marcus more than I like Blade. Something wrong with that picture? Definitely.

THINGS JUST GOT REEEAAALLLYYY INTERESTING! :D

That is definitely one of the best episodes of the series so far. Imagine if they were churning out episodes like that in the beginning of the season.

Well, looks like they try to detox Krista next week so it should get interesting.

We briefly saw the secretary again.:O

The detox should be interesting. It is funny seeing here in that cell.
The secretary is pretty hot.

I really pitied Marcus. That pure-blood Dominic is a real piece of ****, raping Marcus' wife and killing her in front of him. I'm glad Marcus handed him his ass!

I wonder what Charlotte has in store for my beloved Chase, seeing as how her gigantic body guard snatched her up..?

Did anyone else notice that the Native American Indian Vampires that turned Marcus, were walking around in broad daylight as the ritual started?

THE FIGHT BETWEEN MARCUS AND DOMINIC WAS BRUTAL, IT HURT JUST TO WATCH! :D

WHEN MARCUS WALKED FORWARD AND PULLED THROUGH THAT FIREPLACE METAL ROD THINGY, THAT'S A TECHNICAL TERM BY THE WAY,:D MY JAW DROPED!

Yes this was a very good episode, I hope that the last couple of episodes left in the season are just as good. Love the flashback scenes, reminds me of Highlander the movies/series although they don't always involve Blade it is interesting to find out the characters backstories.

It will also be interesting to find out what happens to Krista next week, like will Blade be able to save her or does she turn bad for good & Blade has to take her out. Good or bad Krista (Jill Wanger) will always be hot I just don't want to see her killed off so soon. Who else is torn between wanting Krista to stay good or go bad?

This series is on fire. If Spike doesn't renew it, they are completely out of touch. We get background on MVS, a stomach churning fight scene and a set up for a moment of truth between Blade and Krista next week. Just awesome.

Great damn epsiode! Did anyone else get that Angel vibe when Blade was spying on Krista and Marcus. Blade looked hurt that Krista was having sex with Marcus. I think Blade's got a thing for Krista. That whole scene reminded me of the Angel spying on Cordeilia and Connor.

If there is a season two, I think we will see this as a major plot point.

Really good episode. Heart wrenching watching Marcus's origin. It was so awesome seeing Dominic get his ass handed to him. Didn't think Marc was gonna ash him but I'm glad that he did.:D

This show may have gotten off to a slow start but it sure is going to end big, that's for sure.

Watching the clips online, together with watching this episode, just pissed me off that I missed the last two. Especially Blade's origin of all things.

This episode had it all...flashbacks, origins, cool fight with Marcus, and finally...Krista hooks up with him...sorry, I was waiting for her to just give in already. I guess the only thing that was missing was Blade himself. But overall, another great episode.

Marcus pulling out the poker was a nice touch.

Since the beginning I've really liked his character, he's a lot more complex and interesting then the typical vampire villian, I hope they don't kill him off.

ok...native americans in broad daylight...WTF?!

They could have made an herbal homemade sunscreen type substance from grinding up different plants & other different things & using the oils & or juices from these things to protect their skin. Indians made their war paint & other things like this so who is to say they didn't have some type of recipe for making homemade sun screen. Indian vampires exposed to the sun would have caught on very quickly what would happen to them if they weren't wearing something to protect their skin. Even in the Blade movies a simple sunscreen is enough to protect a vampire's skin.

This episode was definately the best of the season. Of course none of this actually had anything to do with Blade. At this point he's just a role player in his own series. I wonder when we'll get a Chase flashback. It seems the bad guys in this show consist of two ppl. Marcus and Chase.

That's right. Remember, Frost wore it to stay in the sunlight for a short period of time.

I don't think it was broad daylight. It was either twylight, or heavy cloud coverage.

You can see that a storm was coming, so it was probably in daylight but the clouds absorbed most of it.

And what happened to Isabelle? She was bitten, raped and killed. Shouldn't she be a vampire now?
