Etan Cohen to helm Boy Scouts vs. Zombies

There's only one Boy Scout I want to see fighting zombies;

I wonder how this production will go. If you've ever noticed, most movies and TV shows rather than having "Boy Scouts" have "Woodchuck Adventurerers" whatever. That is because the Boy Scouts of America have a congressional charter giving them the right to the name and all associated emblems. The BSA has a lot of control over who can and cannot use the name. I wonder if the title of this film will be forced to change.

Also, the fact that the BSA rarely grant permission doesn't really help them as the media idea of scouting is made up entirely of generic parodies.

Goddammit, this guy has got to change his name.

Yea what, is he trying to be funny and have a name that is similar to Ethan Coen? Or is this really his name?

I don't think there will be any boys in this film. Rather young male adults, because there's no way we will see children being bitten on screen and turn into zombies themselves. It will be too much for the audience to take.
And with guys around the ages of 20-25, the film will not be in tune with the title.

Dawn of the Dead remake had a child zombies.

I hope Bill Murray accidentally signs up for this one also.

bullets: Yes, but we did not see the girl being bitten. Same with the annoying boy in Shaun of the Dead.

Now the Coen Brothers are obligated to make a zombie movie just out of spite.

I don't want to say it but I'm getting sick of zombies.

All I need is the movies I've already got and The Walking Dead. this will hav eto convince me before I give my time to another zombie film. Zombies need a rest for another ten years or so.

It'd probably be the greatest zombie movie ever. I'd like to see the Coen's do something wacky like Raising Arizona or Big Lebowski again.

The red band trailer is out.

I thinks it looks hilarious and bad in the best ways.

Probably gonna check it out if I have the time.

I'm somewhat intrigued. I love a (seemingly) good horror comedy.

Paramount has been promoting the **** out of this thing. I'll probably check it on the weekend, it being Halloween and all. Not one name in the cast so we'll see if the concept hits.
