Predestination chronicles the life of a Temporal Agent sent on an intricate series of time-travel journeys designed to ensure the continuation of his law enforcement career for all eternity. Now, on his final assignment, the Agent must pursue the one criminal who has eluded him throughout time.

The film is based on the Robert A. Heinlein short story '"—All You Zombies—", and stars Ethan Hawke, Sarah Snook and Noah Taylor.

This was already released in Australia a few months back and it received some positive reviews. (for those who care - IMDB 7.7/RT 82%)

Looks quite interesting though. I like teh Hawke.

I just got done watching this movie and I gotta say its damn awesome!

I highly recommend this to anyone that likes time travel films, it really deserves a lot more attention than it is getting.

Also I suggest not watching any trailers for this movie and go in blank.

Wow I had no idea bout this movie!

The book is a really really REALLY awesome concept, not a bad execution, but the concept is what is important. SO freaky deaky.

''Which came first, the chicken or the egg?''

I got around to watching this last night and it was fantastic. Unique, thought provoking and definitely a fresh take on time travel. Sarah Snook's performance was brilliant. 8.5/10

sounds like a very interesting concept

and i like Ethan Hawke. the guy is a pretty underrated actor and deserves to get some bigger roles. i actually would have preferred him for Dr. Strange than Benedict Cumberbatch

I thought this was pretty good. I could tell this film was based on a book due to the structure of it and I guessed the twists before they happened but it was still very entertaining.

This was pretty enjoyable. It encompasses one of the most basic aspects of time-traveling stories and creates a story out of it. Very cool , more the narrative than the quality of adaptation. I didnt know the short story before watching the movie , so i was pleasantly surprised throughout the entire movie.

Brilliant movie. One of the best movies of the year for me. A must buy on blu ray when it eventually leaves theatres. Snook was incredible.

the story, acting, casting is IMO 10/10.

if the directing was better this could be IMO the best movie of lets say 50 years.
two brothers directed this. it was in some parts so bad that you know they spoiled something important that was not meant to be spoiled. you cant hide the face of her boyfriend like that. . it made it look to much important when with good directing we could just focus on Jane in those shots. and when when Jane(man) comes into the bar and starts talking i already knew that it was her in the beginning of the movie when her face burned. because in the first five minutes you can see the face. is not clear but you can see it. and its the same face when she comes into the bar. its bad directing and bad editing. i didnt know the story and i didnt watch the trailer.

I personally Dont think this movie was aiming for the big twists for the viewer like most Hollywood movies attempt.

This movie is fantastic. Loved Daybreakers but this is on another level. Definitely paying closer attention to what the Spierig's do next. Hope this film gets more attention. The lead actress was also incredible.

Hmm, I'll definitely try to see this if I ever can. It looks interesting indeed.

I love time travel stories, so I'll be looking for it.

ooh I saw this recently and I thought it was great! I went into it totally blank... my friend had brought it over for a house party movie night, so I didnt even know the name of the film until it popped up onscreen after a few scenes. You start to catch on to what is going on and can guess whats coming up next but even so the whole concept is just fascinating.

This was amazing, probably the coolest form of time-travel since Deloreans...

Loved how well it melted my mind.

I was expecting to dislike this, honestly. But this ended up being one of my favourite films of the year. The biggest issue for me though is the [BLACKOUT]ick factor of sleeping with yourself to give birth to yourself.[/BLACKOUT]

[BLACKOUT]Anyone wanna explain to me how by ****ing yourself you would then have a baby that was actually yourself? Made no sense.[/BLACKOUT]

It's not supposed to make sense. The entire movie was a Predestination paradox.

I loved the film and can't wait for the blu-ray.

It was always intended to be...

But seriously, if you're having sex with yourself then i guess it makes sense. You can't get any more incest than that.

Who knew someone could top the John Connor/Kyle Reese paradox?

I'm finally planning on checking this movie off my list over the weekend. I've read many mixed reviews, but a couple friends who always recommend good movies to me told me they loved it.

I love movies that take me on a ride and leave me thinking about them afterwards. For example, it's already almost been five months since the release of Interstellar, and I still think about the events in that movie.

You're in for a treat. I loved it. Days later and I'm still thinking about it. It gets a slot on the shelf right next to 12 Monkeys.

This movie was a total mind screw. Loved it. Great performances by Hawke & Snook.

Love time travel movies....need to check this out....
