Eva Green is my 2nd favorite Bond girl.

Didn't have time to see the movie at midnight so I...um...called in sick for work and saw it at the noon matinee. The movie was good. Not the best Bond film ever or whatever. And, Daniel Craig is EXCELLENT. He's no Connery but definitly very EXCELLENT.

But, the one thing I REALLY loved about Casino Royale was Eva Green as Vesper. Oh God! She was perfect! I loved her. She's sexy (something we've all know since The Dreamers was released) but also had a lot of depth. Which was great. And, her performance I loved very much.

So, just for the curious...my favorite Bond girl is ***** Galore. I mean...you can't really beat ***** Galore. She will always be the best.

Eva Green was amzing in the film, like you said she's sexy beautiful woman and has acting chops too.

Plus I like Jane Seymour but Green is my No 1 Bondgirl.

Eva has the most gorgeous eyes I have ever seen. Big and blue and you could get lost in them for days. She also fit the part perfectly. She looked like an educated woman, something some Bond girls were missing *cough*Christmas Jones, Jinx*cough*. Green is now at the top of the list for me, with Jane Seymour, Rosamund Pike, and Diana Rigg.

She was excellent. In fact, she is such an underrated actress as she has created IMO easily the best Bond girl (just above TSWLM's Triple X, ***** Golare, Honey Ryder and Xenia Onatopp).

Nah. You can't really top ***** Galore. I know it wasn't addressed in the movie but ***** Galore was a lesbian and Bond brought her to the other side.

I mean...can you get anymore male fantasy than that? People are saying how much they want a Jason Bourne-esque Bond film but...they don't realize the fantasy world of the Connery era were actually the most faithful to Fleming.

James Bond is pure fantasy. You can't deny that.

I thought Famke Jassen made a great bad Bond girl with a good poerformance in GE. There was also to a lesser extent Sophie Marceau in the very underrated TWINE (she was the main Bond girl, and a villain at that, Christmas was just there so he had someone to shag at the end of the movie).

I think Tracy Bond played by Diana Riggs was a very good performance and actress as well. And there have been other good actresses to play Bond girls who were simply underused. The actress who played ***** Galore was damn good as well. As was the Bond girl in FYEO.

On the other hand you also had Ursla Andress, Plenty O'Toole, Barbra Bach (who was a great Bond girl, even if a bad actress), Grace Jones, Tanya Roberts, Denise Richards, Halle Berry, etc. So yes many (most) have been played by bad actresses.


With that said Eva Green plays the best screen Bond girl hands down now.

Lets face it both Vesper and Solane had hot actressesplaying bond girls in this one. I say ***** was the best iconic Bond Girl but Famka was the best villain bond girl. I can't rank them for they were so many desent bond girls. I like Kim Basingers bond girl. She's not a bond girl per say but i liked Samantha Bonds portray as Moneypenny. I loved the vertual reality almost shag scene in Die Another Day.

I hope we get a Moneypenny/ Bond banter in 22 and 23 bond movie with Craig.

I'm pretty sure the bond girl from FYEO was the one who was born a boy.

Yeah but I did like Grace Jones and Tanya Roberts in A View To A Kill.

With that said Eva Green plays the best screen Bond girl hands down now.

I'll comment on that when I see it but I will say from the previews, she looks great to me.

Agreed. I discovered her a few years ago when I saw The Dreamers. And, I just fell in love with her. I'm glad she's getting more roles.
