Everest (Clarke, Brolin, Gyllenhaal)

Wow went to see this today and it's pretty dramatic stuff and at the end you aint going to cheering or anything. I thought Jason Clarke and Josh Brolin were really good in it. The pacing of the movie might not be to everyone's liking thoughOh and the cinematography is stunning as expected. Go see this in IMAX/3D this movie is clearly meant for that screen.

I'd say it's a bit longer than it needed to be though.

7/10

Based on the fateful 1996 simultaneous expeditions up Mount Everest,Everest is visually stunning and quite moving at times
Bad decisions were made and strong storms that seemed to come from nowhere made this expedition harrowing and then some
Director Baltasar Kormákur puts us right on the mountain with the men and women making the journey for glory(?) or to feel a sense
of accomplishment(?)
The film does have a shallow one note feel to it towards the end but it definitely left me with the aforementioned questions as a i left
the theatre.

Scale of 1-10 an 8
