Everyone here is PRO-Muslim and ANTI-Every other religion

Hello Fellow Hypsters,
I am a well respect Jewish member here at the Hype who has been here for a very long time and has made quite a lot of posts. I am using this account to not reveal my identity.

I have come to notice that basically everyone on this message board is very anti-semitic, very anti-christian, anti-buddhist and anti-hindu, however VERY pro-Muslim. I have seem some members say some especially horrible things about christians and jews, yet i have seen cases where people said very similiar things about muslims yet have been censored, or even banned. I even seen posts encouraging the destruction of Israel, the Vatican, and the beheading of Christians. This discrimination towards non-muslim religions is especially seen through the prominent atheists here. Though I onced said something quite a while a back about the Muslim religion being corrupted and my post my deleted and I recieved a plentiful of 'hate' PMs. It seems everyone is going through a phase of 'double-standards' which sucks balls.

I'm with you. If you're going to lambast one religion, do it to all of them.
Besides Judaism, Islam, and Christianity are incredibly closely linked.

It's just that a lot of idiots can't see that.
They were all born from the same ideas.

But honestly, the only pro-Muslim stuff I see in these forums are from the very few highly-religious muslims on these forums who have decided to dedicate their entire online-persona to how much they love Islam.

Well, if you're doing it for comedic purposes you can't just make fun of one religion and be offended when somebody makes fun of another.
If you're doing it because you're a pompous athiest: At least commit to bashing all religion instead of being a fraud and picking on christians.

this is a lot like tom cruise and sceintology and south park. i think that if people really believe in their religions, that they should be able to handle people making fun of their religions. If they can't take it, then there is probably some doubt in there somewhere.

Well, that could generally be attributed to the fact that the majority of atheists here are Americans and are more familiar with the Christian doctrines for them to dissect. For some, if not most, Atheist Americans, religion equals Christianity (Christian being the religion with the biggest following and most popular in America). So, quite naturally, when they bash religion, they bash Christianity. If at all, due to lack of exposure to other religions.

It has nothing to do with their disbelief in Christianity per se, but Christianity in America is the poster-child for religion.

Oh, nobody has been able to figure out the origins of life for thousands of years - but suddenly some jackass kid has figured it out in between visits to hot topic and trips to Starbucks.

I agree. Some people expended serious time and money into research for proving or disproving certain doctrines in scriptures. And here comes Joe Atheist and, with a Google-click, thinks that he has made the ultimate discovery.

First of all I agree with you to certain point. Im a or was a muslim who critsize muslims and islam today, i dont post and wate my time as much as other people but i do say what true about middle east right now.

The only reason people use christianity or Jewdisim is because they're using one religion to make a point. Like someone said they are all the same/have the same roots, so if someone is bashing christianity they are in away bashing the other religions too.

I have never seen anit hindu buddist post. Those religions are probably only peaceful ones as far as i know.
