... Well, I suppose they could get the girl who played Kitty in X3 to reprise her role.. Bringing Colossus along might help romance to blossom with Kitty.. maybe it's part of a "study abroad" program at the Xavier Institute..

how to justify the "Excalibur" team in the X-Men movie world? is there some mutant haven started up by Moira Mactaggart?

would Captain Britain retain his mystical origin? Ultimates origin? or would this version be a mutant (and if so, why pick such a vainglorious name?)

would Meggan have her faerie background, or mutant..

rachel summers aka Phoenix II aka Marvel Girl II is problematic for obvious reasons-- the time-lost daughter of Scott and Jean, who has learned how to control her Phoenix power..

Wolfsbane- if they have Rahne, then Meggan shouldn't be doing the wolf-thing, it would only add confusion..

Pete Wisdom-- I realize people dig him, but I'm not completely sold on him in a movie..

You've thought about this well! I agree with your observations.

Excalibur as a movie could not really exist in the same continuity/universe as the existing X-Men movies. At least not without radical changes.

I would be happy if Rachel Summers wasn't in an Excalibur movie. You could make it in the X movie verse easily. You just leave out the mythical stuff. I could see them fighting black air.

I do. Betsy definately needs to be seen on screen in her original incarnation.

Actually, concernin the above pic I have to say; I'd certainly enjoy an Excalibur movie but my main wish would be to see a Cap movie 1st based on the Alan Davis and Jamie Delano run starting with the story 'Bad Moon Rising' etc.

Forget about the Jaspers warp - onlt refer to it in flashback.
I always felt that the way it was written is ideal for adaption for a movie; in partilcaur the way Brian's origin is told simulaneously from different perspectives by both Brian and Dai Thomas.

I'd dearly love to see Cap's battles with Slaymaster and Kaptain Briton as well as Sat-Yr-9 and the Technet.

Oh. MY God. Rhona Mitra. Is. So.Hot.

Totally Psylocke worthy. That being said...Bean is wayy too old to be Braddock (he's about 50.) I'd want someone more Rhona's age.

And I am a big fan of Bean, he's a great actor, but he's just too old to be Brian Braddock.
