Inception Begets Expulsion

Warner Bros. to destroy Earth, etc.

Warner Bros. has picked up a sci-fi spec script called Expulsion, reportedly "emboldened" by the success of "big idea" projects after the success of Inception.

According to Deadline, the script by novelist and comics scribe Gregg Hurwitz is about a small group of survivors who escape the destruction of the Earth (via an act of terror) and head to a planet outside of our solar system.

So what's the relation to Inception exactly? Aside from the "ion" in each title? Sci-fi, one guesses. Big budgets? Deadline columnists who equate all genre material as being equal?

It's a "big idea" project.... Sounds interesting though.

Titan A.E was great. If it's something akin to that it could be good. There isn't much to go on but it sounds like it could be interesting.
