Long time lurker, first time contributor. I've seen some great work on these forums, and I hope that I can live up to the standard. For the last few weeks I've been working on a comic-inspired Extremis helmet. I used a foam cast of my own head, and had to modify the proportions somewhat to make it look good for when I'm wearing it. Now I'm very close to the casting process, but I am worried about how exactly I should split up the mold. Any suggestions? I have alginate, latex, and urethane rubber that I can use, with plaster as a mother mold, but again, I'm not sure which would be the best for this.

The last one is just of center in the pic, not horribly out of proportion in real life, I promise.:cwink:
