I just bought this on dvd and freaking loved it. When I heard this was going to be set in japan and have nothing to do with the first two I lost interest. But lin did a great job here. The cinematography was excellent and I never realized how beautiful japan really is. I also liked how he toned down the races, which made them much more realistic. The soundtrack and score by brian tyler was pretty good to. MY only complaints were that the yakuza didnt seem that dangerous and I wished sean would have had to have down more illegeal things to get into the group.

im surprised they made that in japan. no asian drivers no how to drive good.

It was surpringly good but my only complaint is why the **** is Bow Wow in that movie???!!! Not that he didnt good job, is just most azn are old school conservative, they stick with there own people.

I liked this movie.
His accent bothered me, but made Lucas Black fit the "fish out of water" role better.

Sorry but any movie with Lil Bow Wow automatically makes me hate it.

Cut Bow Wow some slack. He isn't so bad that you'd just avoid a movie.

Definitely my favorite in the series. I half expected Ja Rule or Ludacris to roll up at the end though.

Nope sorry. Rappers need to stick to music and actors need to stick to acting. It is very rare that someone can do both well.

The only people who make me dodge a movie entirely is Missy Elliot and Macy Gray. And Shaq.

Touché.

Like for example I read the other day that P Diddy would like to play James Bond??? Give me a ****ing break. His acting in Made was a laughable performance. Stick to making money using other people's music to make your own Diddy.

Lol I love these excuses for these **** movies that borderline saying "Well it is SUPPOSED to be ****." :yay: There are people that go to see movies solely on actors or actresses in it and there are people that DON'T go to see it because of the actors or actresses in it. And Bow Wow I hate as an actor therefore I will not see a movie with him in it...it is that simple.

Sometimes I feel this way, sometimes I don't.
I will not see any movie with Jon Heder in it, but it pisses me off when people say "I don't want to see this movie because Tom Cruise is in it."

To me, not seeing a movie solely on one person who's in it is crazy.

Well there is a difference. People are equating his personal life into it which is ridiculous. I am just purely equating acting ability and Bow Wow's turns me off. And Bow Wow is just part of the reason I don't wanna see I also don't wanna see it because I saw the trailer and just looked like another churned out **** sequel.

I dont like bow wow either but I have to admit I liked his charachter in the movie.

I changed my post.
Btw, I don't blame you for being turned off by the trailer.
So was I, but I was bored and went to see it with some buddies.
I ended up being happy that I saw it.

Well thankfully I have never been bored enough to see it.

Im curious what other movie was Bow Wow in that you hated? This is the only movie I recall that he's in. Like I said he did a decent job and one of his fav movies is Batman returns so he cant be all that bad!:D

Uhhh no. Unlike a lot of people I actually base my opinions on experience. But go on keep assuming things about people without knowing that will get you far. :cwink:

Story is cliche and predictable, but the cinematography and racing were great along with the fact that I like Lucas Black, it made for a solid movie.

Pretty forgettable and silly movie, and none of that was Lil' Bow Wows fault, he was a decent presence in the movie.

I was dissapointed though that he didn't keep the tricked out Mustang(if I remember correctly) after the 'big race'(God that sounds so cheesy, especially since this 'big race' is preceeded by a gearing up montage) and reverted back to the typical drifting rice-rocket type car.

This movie is awesome for a couple of things....the tight closeups of hot asian chicks in short minis....the cool action scenes....and the shots of the hot asian chicks in the movie.

Bring on Fast and the Furious 4 in Rio De Janiero. That's where the hottest girls are at. I don't know if they have racing..but who cares.
