Ridley Scott Circling YA Franchise Fae
Filmmaker to produce a feature adaptation of the fantasy novel.

Ridley Scott is looking to get a piece of the lucrative YA movie pie and has optioned the screen rights to Fae, the young adult fantasy bestseller by sister authors Colet and Jasmine Abedi.
Fae is the first book in a trilogy and was published last summer by Diversion Books.
The story centers on Caroline Ellis, who has just turned 16, a birthday that triggers a fated battle between the Dark and Light Fae. This forces Caroline to confront who she is and discover whether her relationship with Devilyn Reilly, who's struggling with the power of the Dark within him, will destroy them both along with humanity.
According to Deadline, Scott will produce the feature adaptation alongside Giannina Facio. The second book titled The Dark King is also now completed and due out soon
