Infinity War Falcon, Scarlett Witch, Bucky, Vision, War Machine?

Or might we see them continue their supporting roles in the MCU going forward?

I think they will continue to have supporting roles, except probably War Machine.

As a matter of fact, I think Scarlet Witch is going to continue to be a main Avenger.

As a Scarlet Witch fan I am always pessimistic about her future but I would find it very weird if they dumped her. They don't have many powerful women around and even after the X-Women come in, it will take time to establish them. Unless they think Carol makes her redundant, but I don't know why they would think that.

Bucky is just too popular not to use and they are already laying groundwork for a post-Winter-Soldier identity.

Not sure about Vision or Rhodey. Sam I think is pretty versatile.

War Machine will die, but the rest will survive the end of Avengers 4 and either appear in Avengers 5 or make appearances in other movies.

I think Bucky is a lock for Black Panther 2 as the White Wolf. And the females if a women's team up is green lighted.

The rest depends upon there being another Avengers movie if you assume no more Captain America or Iron-Man movies.

Elizabeth Olsen is just 29 I think. The Scarlet Witch has a stronger history with the Avengers comic stories. More so than characters like Black Widow & the Falcon. I assume Marvel Studios knows people like the character & will keep her around. They don't know yet if people will warm up to Brie Larson as Captain Marvel or Evangeline Lily as the Wasp.

Anthony Mack as The Falcon is good. Like Scarlet Johnson as Black Widow. If Marvel keep them around it will just be more super villains getting nerfed since they have no superpowers.

Vision is a robot. He can die & come back again. If they keep Scarlet Witch he will probably stick around too.

Bucky. If Chris Evans is done as Captain America I have no idea what they will do with him if he does not become the next Captain America.

War Machine. If Robert Downey stop being Iron Man, they will still have a guy in a armor suit in Marvel Universe.
This is just my opinion. There are lots of stories to tell with these characters.

Anything Iron Man has been doing in the movies so far, is nothing War Machine really could have not done too.( fight the Black Order & Thanos) War Machine so far have been like the most underdeveloped character in Marvel Universe. If Iron Man final movie is Avengers 4, there are still lots things for War Machine to do & might actually help the character. Seem like Marvel Studios don"t want WM to do any big action scenes that Iron Man can do. Hell we still don't know how Rodney get in & out of his War Machine armor. Marvel have never shown us.

He put it on piece by piece and stole it for the US government. I guess Hammer first gave him the mounting robots like Stark used until taking off a damaged suit in the Avengers. So the question becomes did Stark provide upgrades or is War Machine still at the Iron Patriot tech levels?

War machine will go due to dc age.

The rest will stay. Bucky may possibly get the shield, maybe even Sam.

No, we don't need him. He has neither the brains that Tony has, nor the convictions Steve possesses. While I love the character (liked Terrance Howard's take on the character more) I wouldn't mind Rhodey either retiring the character or sacrificing himself, and Shuri picking up the War Machine mantle.

I'd like Falcon to get a bigger role than he has been getting. Scarlet Witch is one of the very few female characters that can hold her own against super powered beings, so I definitely like to see her stick around if they can't get Lady Sif into the picture. As for Vision, I could care less. Never found him interesting to begin with. Liked him better when he was just Jarvis. Either way, I just find it irritating that every Avengers movie we have had either revolve around Tony Stark, or his creation, Jarvis.... We get it, Kevin Fiege and company have a serious hard on for Tony Stark and must have him be the most important character by far, but must they constantly beat us on the head with it?

If Scarlet Witch is sidelined after Avengers 4, it would be a travesty. One of the most powerful characters, good (and relatively affordable) actress, 1 of the top 5 performances in Infinity War and a core/early Avenger from the comics. Definitely hoping she continues.

I think they are moving to a new Avengers lineup which would possibly include - Ant-Man, Wasp, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Falcon, Winter Soldier, and Wanda with perhaps Spider-man and Dr. Strange as fill-ins. Clearly BP, Captain Marvel and Ant-man are going to be the biggest parts to this, what I don't know is how much Spider-man and Dr. Strange would be apart. Peter is still a teenager, so I think he would be an associate member, and Strange already has a full time job as sorcerer supreme so I don't see him being a full time member, but someone that would assist.

I also think Vision is going to come back. but that's another thread. I also hope they bring in Wonder Man

I don't think Wonder Man will ever appear in a movie. Warner Brothers will sue claiming that he violates their Wonder Woman copyright.
