Blue Dragon (9/9/9/10).

They said about the game:

"a flawless RPG, a massive world, detailed story and slowly uncovering the truth, every characters are like living and breathing, must buy for RPG fans"

"Sakaguchi's heart warming story being recreated in Toriyama's world, the 3D environment shorten the distance between the player and the game's world, being able to explore the world is a very lucky thing, the game that will get you to buy a 360".

My other source:

Storytelling is very effective and nicely done, Battle system is easy to handle and well balanced,
Having mass appeal for newbies as well.
Gamers will be satisfied with depth in battle, and tons of hidden things around objects.
We can say BD is very traditional but very evolved RPG.

-- Score 9 --
It feels like traditional epic RPG revived with high-end technologies.
Softly and heart warming visuals.very customizable grow-up system with depth.
Effects and cutscenes are not so flashy, but techniques of storytelling are really skills.

-- Score 9 --
Well balanced RPG with authority. Battle is very deep, Kudos to Shadow system with lot of categories and skills,
And some nifty systems like making enemies fought each others.
The story is very compelling, each events have moving dramas.
One thing that depressed me a little was there is a feature to check enemy's poo.

-- Score 9 --
Battles and UIs include command directions are totally stress-free.
You can play for hours w/o stress, This is relatively uncommon for typical RPGs.
We could find joy of Toriyama's artworks, even in movies and battles.
And I really love the music on boss battle, performed by Ian Gillan.

-- Score 10 --

--- This weeks "summary" must buy! --

Reviewer1:You gamers must play BlueDragon and better to try spreading this for non-gamers.

Reviewer2:RPG gamers won't have any regret for buying BlueDragon.

Reviewer3:I can recommend BlueDragon for everyone. Cutting edge but Retro feeling. I'd rather say those kids will love it.

Reviewer4:BlueDragon is very solid, Ian Gillan's boss music made dug up old CD and listen in "Speed King"

Well, this game looks like it did it. This is Mistwalker's FIRST game and it gets this score - and they're XBOX 360 exclusive for the most part.

Like I said though, it couldn't get any "8's" or the Japanese may not even notice it and it didn't get any 8's, it actually did one better than a 9.

Good. Mistwalker was clearly a great partner for Japan.

Hopefully, LO will be even better. Eat it, Japs. 360's will be yours.

nice, but is there any comparison to this and chrono trigger?

It has two of the three main people that were behind Chrono Trigger (Horii does Dragon Quest with Toriyama while Sakaguchi [father of Final Fantasy] and Toriyama have teamed up for this game).

I'll be buying this. When does it come out?

December 7th for Japan - as for the rest of the world? I'm guessing sometime in the first three months of the new year. That's totally guessing on my part, though.

I don't, however, think it'll take 6-8 months like a Final Fantasy usually takes just for the fact that I doubt Lost Odyssey and this will see release so close to each other (Sakaguchi is aiming for a world wide release for Lost Odyssey near the end of '07).

It was supposed to be January, I don't really know anymore. But you have no 360, Z!

Hardware sales for Japan this month will be interesting.

Let's see what Japan will do now when this game comes out. The better do some amazing advertisements to impress them or I'm gonna have to slap a Jap, Superman style.

I'll definitely get this. If others get the game or not has nothing to do with my enjoyment of it.

I'll get my 360 fixed at some point maybe for like Halo 3 and Mass Effect. Either that or I'll try to borrow a 360 from someone I might meet between now and then.

A feature to check your enemies crap? Oh those crazy Japanese.

Anyways, I would've been ****ing shocked if this game was anything less then great.

The whole "Battles and UIs include command directions are totally stress-free.

If they're not, Microsoft should just force Mistwalker into making FPSs.

If anything I'm sure people in America and Canada will buy it thats for certain.

not sure about that, never played it.

But the game isn't high in reviews also so thats pretty flawed I guess

FFXII scored 40/40 in Famatsu. That's what I was getting at. :p
