It would be a regression for Famke from playing a superhero to a superhero's girlfriend, a damsel is distress. Plus, she Jean Grey, seeing her play Pepper would just be confusing in the same way Hugh Jackman playing Superman would be.

Oh wlel. She wasn' that thrilled with X1 or X3 anyways (htough reportedly she enjoyed her part in X2) and was glad to be done with those movies either way. It is unlikely she'd jump into ANOTHER superhero franchise, especially one where she doesn't get to play a hero/villain, but instead simply play a girlfriend (which outside of theo nes who turn out to be villanesses like Pffeifer's Catowoman, how well have these roles been. Dunst's role as MJ is decent at best and is hte only stand out one yet).
