What do you think might be one of the dumbest fanboy complaints you ever heard about a comic book movie?

Why did this thread die? Was it just too beautiful? :down:huh:

Worst EVER: Mary Jane isn't hot enough

Webhead just posted that part of why he didnt like Superman Returns is because Superman doesnt wear a mask.

I think of the prime examples of fanboy nitpicking is how people shredded the SR suit to bits.

Most people whined about the hulk not speaking in his movie, when in fact he does twice.

Keaton being too short to play batman is a crappy complaint.

Oh and all the crying about the donner cut not being finished (which was impossible since donner doesn't have a time machine).

that some origins have to be updated

in the X3 forum someone said that wolverine velocity after Juggs threw him out the house wasn't enough for him to break threw the roof......and Juggs disobeying Magneto's order of keeping the X-men out the house by throwing wolverine in the house......and then fighting him in the house....

I don't like x3 on bit......but those just made me laugh......its a valid complaint...not dumb...just too nipticky....there were much more wrong with the movie than those little scenes.....but I'm bored and couldn't stop laughing at that.....

Hair color!

I didnt care that Human torch wasnt blond. Although it was a bigger problem with fanboys when James Bond was blond. Which I also didnt care about.

Most peasants grab pitchforks and torches when a temple or something has been desecrated. Fanboys grab'em over BAT NIPPLES.

Complaints about Reed Richards hair not looking like the comic.

One time they debated which side Superman's part should be on :woot:

Superman having a son in SR
Peter Parker being too flip floppy

Those two were dumb

I guess the organic webshooters was a decent one too. It's the only one that got national press release and a statement from the director, Sam Raimi.

Complaining that it was a neogenic spider instead of a radioactive spider, though... THAT was plain assinine.

Superman having a son in SR

Huh... I really couldn't have cared less, but this one sure as hell qualify as a valid one in my book. :wow:

I mean, that's kinda bigger than wirework, costumes or hair color. :wow:

Let's not forget the complaints about Juggernaut's helmet in the movie :down

"The role of superman should never be played by a gay actor "

:whatever:
WTF is that all about ?

Ian McKellen was just fine as Magneto. Same for his role as Gandalf.

LOL, gotta agree there.

I'll say the Webshooters complants. I never liked em and am very happy that they aren't in the films.

No, the web shooters have been a part of spidey for decades. so dropping them wasn't going to be met with favorable reaction.]

I still think it wasn't necessary to exclude them since we gained nothing special from it.
