Iron Man Fans Outlook on Iron Man/Tony Stark

I just found the comic con footage and I can honestly say I enjoyed it. It made me remeber why I actually enjoyed Iron Man for the last 15 years. However after everything that has happened with the character in recent years (Civil War/Initiative) do you guys think this is gonna bring fans back over to Iron Man side again.

However after everything that has happened with the character in recent years (Civil War/Initiative) do you guys think this is gonna bring fans back over to Iron Man side again.

There has forever been a diverse side for comic fans. One side is in love with Marvel, the other with DC. I never saw the feat in liking one over the other, I think both are spectacular at telling the stories they want. So, I don't think we need to pick a side. For instance, the heated debate about whether Iron Man will outbeat The Dark Knight. Lets enjoy them and then talk about the better film.

A lot of the hardcore fans are aware of Tony's stance in the Mutant Registration Act, but the more mainstream aren't really reading the current crop so just view him from older comics and from current merchandising. It won't affect too many people. That Civil War thing basically forced a lot of our already somewhat ambiguous heroes to just choose sides though.
