Fox is in jeopardy of entering single digit market share. You are foolish to think their studio isn't in trouble. Universal, Disney and Warner are owning the cinema market.

Ahh, yes. If a company falls under a certain market share, they are forced to closed. Whether or not their movies are profitable or not. It looks like their big films are in the fall/winter of this year. And film studios are not allowed to have a bad year. It's not like Fox doesn't have any big guns in the pipeline. /sarcasm

As for the movie, I'm still interested in it. I am fine with the small amount of action. The action was never what caught my interest in the first place.

I have still not seen one TV spot since the soccer finals....and I'm in the 4th largest city in the US...what the heck?

That was the last time I've seen one too. I've seen tons of Ant-Man and MI5 spots, but nothing for Fantastic Four.

Why do you keep saying that you are fine with a small amount of action? It's become some bizarre mantra.

So you are saying FF film will literally slap me across the face? I am totally fine with that. :o

You know what I like in a film with a rock monster, a man that shoots fire, a man that stretches, and a woman with force fields and invisibility? A majority of it with them sitting around and talking about how their powers suck. :o

I know like what?

Does he want us to apologize for wanting at least some action in a goddamn Superhero comicbook movie? Is that a sin now? There is nothing wrong with expecting a decent amount of action. That doesn't mean you want all action but it's not a drama, you do want some.

It isn't even the amount of action imo, it is the quality. It looks so bad. I don't see anything the quality of the Battle of Smallville or TWS Street Fight.

The FF should be having Avengers type battles not small contained fights. Its pathetic especially given the abilities of the characters. Cbms these days have upped the ante in terms of scale and size of the action. Ant-Man did it in a clever way because when he shrinks everything else becomes big. The action in this film looks like the rehash if the Doom vs FF back in '05.

The quality of the action definitely doesn't look good so far.

So is the assumption that a lot of the reshoots concerned putting in more action?

Seems FF has entered the Green Lantern zone...

So it's like "The Fantastic Breakfast Club Four?" I'm starting to wonder if this thing won't fall into the so bad it's good category.

Nope. No one needs to apologize for liking what they like. Or wanting this movie to be different than what it looks to be. I'm not an FF fan, but I am sympathetic.

Despite everything, this still looks like a movie I want to see. I understand I am in the minority.

I'd assume it is action and changing little things, like characters names and what they do in their downtime. Like, I doubt Victor blogs anymore. :funny:

I am really afraid of not paying to go see it in the end. You know, curiosity and that "I wanna go see something at the movies" feeling.... But everything so far makes me NOT wanting to. After M:I, I guess I will have to wait 2 months for Bond...
